Searching round the web I encountered this interesting photo gallery of a major anime con taking place in Santiago de Chile (of all places) with lots of good cosplay photos.
Quite interesting.

The VA actress Rossy Aguirre was there!!! Unfair!!! I wanted to meet her in a Conque con 6 years ago and she didn't arrive, but she's there!!!! >_<

Looking a bit further into the site looking for anime cons in Mexico, I found out that they actualley DARED make a con in the very hospital I go to every freaking weekday without me knowing!!!! (though the event took place in late June when I was off semester)
