I don't know if this is technically cosplay, but do any of you guys like get or make custom clothes inspired by your favorite shows? I'm in the process of getting a pair of air force 1s customized with a character from an anime and was curious if any of you guys who are into cosplay are into this too?

Im sure alot of people make their own custom clothes, anime-inspired. Actually, Im thinking of doing something like that soon as well, I just dont know what yet. Sounds fun. :)

Oddly, yes. I've found myself re-creating old clothes that I never wore because I was inspired by something a character was wearing in an anime or game. I'm also really inspired by Japanese street fashion. I love their crazy styles. I'm not sure if I would -cosplay- in any of these outfits since I'd rather go as a character, but I'd certainly where them as every-day clothing.

... actually, i kinda look for bags that anime characters carry. of course, they'd have to be normal looking bags, but just the resembance has to be exact. like Keitaro Urashima's bag in Love Hina.

I would say the only thing that comes even close to anime inspired fashion would be the Gothic Lolita dress.

I try to avoid anime related clothing.
