Strongest Vice Captain

Who is the strongest vice captain in the anime so far, id say Renji, i think hes the only vice captain with a Bankai but im not sure, also how strong is Yachiru, the only sign ive seen of her strength is when Ichigo was fighting Kenpachi, and that messenger was trying to tell her something.

I think that pretty boy is Izuru Kira.

Strongest Vice Captain would be Renji or Kira.
Kira's shikai is a nasty one. The ability is: it doubles the weight of whatever it hits.

I'd say Kira, since his shikai can cancel out most of the other VC's shikai, and most bankai, VC or otherwise. The exceptions I've seen so far are Byakuya's and what's her face, the chick with the huge tits.

Names escape me, but I never forget a nice rack.

I was actually talking about Yumichika Ayasegawa...This guy. Not a VC but his Shikai is pretty powerful (Suck the spiritual pressure out of his opponent on to himself)

You know as soon as I finished typing I thought of Yumichika as well but he wasn't a vice captain.Then gameoffreak8 reminded me of Kira, who I would class as a pretty boy.I don't think he's that strong but his shikai packs a helluva wallop.

She's definitely my favorite Vice Captain and I can't wait to see what she's capable of. The fact that we have yet to see her actually fight and that she's Kenpachi's VC leads me to believe that she must be pretty friggin strong.

But since I haven't actually seen what she can do yet, I'll go with Kira. We don't know what his bankai looks like or if he'll ever even get one (Renji is the only VC that has one at this point, I think; er never mind, I read the spoiler), but his shikai can give him a pretty good edge even agains Renji's bankai. If Kira hit the head of Renji's bankai a couple of times, it would probably be useless.

Did you see her riatsu when the messenger tried to interupt the fight between Kenpachi and Ichigo? She also didn't budge while watching the battle between Byakuya and Ichigo, whereas most of the others were shaken by the massive amounts of riatsu being unleashed, which implies that she has a fair amount herself.

I doubt Zakari would pick a weakling to be his VC and she must be really strong, you see how she rides on his sholders telling him where to go next, No VC can F with her.

I'm not saying she can't be powerful, I'm saying Kenpachi made her his vice captain because he wanted her to be with him. She is the only person who has a really good relationship with him. That was the only thing he needed for him to make his decision, how strong she was had no relevance to the matter.

Even if it didn't start that way, I believe she respects Zakari too much to be a hindrance to him. If she wasn't strong in the first place, she'd definitely train hard to get that way to be a person worthy of Zakari VC.

She may be his VC because he wants it that way, but theres no doubt shes strong, very strong, we know how strong Ikkaku is, easily strong enough to be VC in another squad, hes Kenpachis number 3, i dont think Yachiru would allow herself to be VC if she knew Ikkaku was stronger.

She is strong, but her and Zaraki go way back when in sereiti. BFFL (I think that means best friends for life) :lol:

^ Although he does have that ability, Matsumoto at least can beat him, so I still don't consider him the strongest VC. Maybe the strongest, minus Matsumoto. Although I prefer to think of "strongest" in terms of pure reiatusu and destructive power, which is why I still say Renji since he's the only VC I know of that has bankai so far.

The way the series is built, each fukutaichou has their own strengths and weaknesses, usually that compliment their taichou.

Personally, given how important they are to the overall story, I'd say that the Trio will likely become the strongest (and possibly fill the three vacant positions).

I would say Kira. As you mention Kira's ability it makes want to see Kira vs. Byakuya. Just think if Kira could do what Ichigo did when he faced Byakuya... total ownage.

Well, I think Kira's ability is not going to work on Byakuya since his soul slayer will just vanish when he actives his shikai or bankai.

Yes but there is probably a limit to his powers i.e. he can't double things forever, eventually he's gona run out of Reiatsu.

I think we also need to consider the others rather than just Renjii, Yachiru and Kira. Nanao is probably pretty strong judging by the fact that she can fight with someone with out an apparent Zanpakutou, or Nemu becuase of her body being so hard to damage or Chōjirō Sasakibe simply because he's the vice-captain of the Comander General.

I think the other VC's would've gone down just as easily though...except maybe Renji. There's a huge power gap between a Capt. and a standard VC.

Renji could be stronger though, since he *was* afterall, a part of the 11th Division, but I don't think he can be stronger then VP of the 11th.

Hell, Kenpachi's spirit power alone was enough to match the combined power of Kurosaki's spirit power + Zangetsu + Hollow power. He'd definately have a strong VP.

hey wait i havent been reading the scans, so is there a fight involving her being implied for sometime in the near future? id have to see that right away.
