I really enjoy Bleach. I've been watching it subbed for a long time now. Episodes 100-125 have really been keeping my interest.

The dubbed version turned out rather good, in my opinion. If only Naruto's dub turned out better... >_<

Epic fail is fail. Nanao's the lieutenant of 8th division, and shows up at around the same time as her captain. She is most definitely in the manga. Therefore, the woman you are thinking of is Rantao, the apparent creator of the Bount from what I can gather.

That was the highlight of this anime for me so far. It was pretty amazing. I am waiting for Kenpachi to go completely crazy on someone though and release his Zanpakuto though.

That won't start for another 20 or so episodes.

Ichigo vs. Zaraki however starts in about 2 episodes. It is by far my favorite fight in all of Bleach.

Quite the common belief, there are some important chain of events that happens during the Arc after the SS arc. I know it sucks sitting through the fillers, but sometimes you have to stomach it and just suck it up.

Adult Swim. It is comes on cartoon network around 10 or something like that. Pretty much the source of anime and stuff like family guy and Aqua Teen Hunger Force for regular cable.

The only show I follow on TV is Bleach. I just don't feel like watching the sub, and I've grown to like the dub (especially Ichigo's voice).

Compared to most dubs, Ichigo's voice is quite good actually. I'm still in the air on Inoue's and Ishida's voice. When Soi Fong and Yoruichi come into the picture, then it will be ON.

Ichigo's voice is perfect. So is Inoue's and Rukia's. Ishida is growing on me (though I think someone like Yuri Lowenthal would've made a better Ishida or if this is was by Ocean, Kirby Morrow} as is Renji's.

I havta say that Gin's voice is the most mismatched voice for a dub I have ever heard. He is supposed to speak in slang not perfect grammar. Hell, they even made it seem like he is some snobby rich guy.

Ishida's on the other hand seems to fit perfectly. He sounds like some nerd, a perfect match.

Renji's is growing on me. The VA seems to be getting into character more than he was in the earlier episodes.

First you have to watch Chad's big scene. It'll show some backstory w/ Chad and Ichigo. I think it lasts 3 or 4 episodes.

After that you'll see Zaraki vs. Ichigo.

I agree with you on that. I did not like the Bounto Arc myself because they go from an exciting SS Arc and then all of a sudden it gets boring the next. Its kinda like Rurouni Kenshin when they went to Kyoto Arc: It was very exciting and then the next arc was boring. But one thing I liked about the Bounto Arc was it did show some good fights and showed more of Byakuya Kuchiki.

Yeah, I guess your right on the fight aspect. And it was so disappointing to come from the SS arc (which was pretty much the perfect action and excitement) to the bounto crap. :( I hope the present one gets a lot better to make up for it. Screw it, I wish I could just erase my memory of that a past arc and remember the important info- that would be nice. And the good fight too!

Tousen wasnt fooled by Aizen because he's blind and he didnt fall for an illusion, because he cant see. and since Aizen's power isnt like Tousen's Bankai, dont look at him and rely on the other senses and he's toast. Kenpachi will most likely beat him, because he almost beat Tousen when he used his Bankai, and that was just with the sense of touch.

This is true, but I wonder if that always has to be the case. Ichigo did all the work in the last arcs and maybe someone else may step in to add a little spice to the show. It would be nice to see someone else defeat Aizen, but I don't anything against Ichigo doing the work again. Just be something a little different.

If Tite doesn't continue the series after this arc, Ichigo will be the one to defeat Aizen. Since he's the hero, to have anyone but him defeat the last big bad guy would be dumb.

First of all, have you watched the show lately? Talk about drawn out. I'd say its already in the "realm of DBZ". Besides, regardless of how drawn out it was, DBZ was an amazing series and it shouldn't be a bad thing to compare it to Bleach.

Second, If Tite stopped at the Hueco Mundo arc, the series would be incomplete. He is not stopping at the Hueco Mundo arc. There is too much story left to tell. Judging from the amount of chapters the Soul Society arc lasted, I'd say that the Hueco Mundo arc should be wrapping up soon and the Soul Society vs Hueco Mundo arc should be starting. In fact, I'll bet there will be multiple arcs after the Hueco Mundo arc.

I agree with you on this. Ichigo is the main character of the story therefore it would be anti climactic if a supporting character kills the main antagonist of the series. Though anything seems possible since we have only seen Kenpachi fight without the release of his Zanpaktou, let alone he does not even know how to release his bankai as of yet.

As for comparison to DBZ.. I dont get it. I thought DBZ was a great series. Its still among one of my all time favorite series. DBZ in my opinion pioneered the fighting anime genre. Just look at some of the elements of both naruto and bleach: a lot of it has been seen before in DBZ.

God I feel sorry for those who have to sit through AS's slow progress of bringing Bleach up to date in the states. Aside from the horrendous voice acting of course....

I think its because I never took the time to watch a lot of dubbed anime. Ever since I started watching anime, I always watched it subbed so I got used to hearing the original language.

A slow pace, I only have to spend 30-minutes infront of the screen and I only have to worry about it when it's on. I love Ichigo's voice. I watch a clip of the sub, and I thought the dub did a good job. Some of the voices don't seem right atfirst, but they grow on me. There are however, sometimes when I just don't agree with the dub (Gran Fischer).

I did it with Naruto and trust me, I really did enjoy it. Watching Naruto 30-Shippudden through fansubs was great... but it really messed up my schedule as a pianist, and alot of my life became unbalanced... I still haven't totally recovered.

It's decent, but no Gunsmith Cats. I judge all new dubs by that anime since it came out at a time when all dubs were really low quality.

I recently started reading the manga and I must say, it only gets better from where the show is now. Too bad the show is only 25 or so episodes...they won't be able to cover all the material since Claymore is an ongoing manga in Japan. So expect a crappy filler ending. Or a Berserk-esque cliffhanger ending. I hope we get the latter.

Well the manga is released monthly so it would take 3-4 months for an episode worth of material to be done.... They had several good points to have a Berserk-esque cliffhanger ending.. mostly in chapters 66-68. Eps 1-11 covered the first 31 chapters of the manga and chapter 73 just came out last week.

Claymore is apprantly set to be 25 volumes long so if we ever get a second anime season in 5-6 years time that should cover the entire manga.

i think there needs to be a line between immediate profit on current big manga, and a complete series thats solid and fluid, giving the manga time to get far enough ahead, and having no separate series in which one may never happen.

I'm gonna' enjoy this fully. Nothing is better than working hard all day to come home to some bleach (despite the fact that I practice at home, XD).

I'm quite impressed with the VAs for both Chad and Kyoraku. It'll be hard to listen to the raw episodes again after that. I'm also surprised that they didn't accent the Spanish words, which to any native speaker grates like nails on a chalkboard.

I figured as much. There's always a limiting factor for how great an Anime can be. For Naruto, it was the 100 episodes of filler that stopped my obsessive watching. And I guess Bleach has the same type of *thing*.

The Bounto arc isn't THAT bad. AT least it has something of a plotline (though not good at all) and development with Uryuu.

Other than that it's Group of Monsters/Hollows/whatever Come to Earth +cause sh*t to happen + Scoobies/SS fail. = Ichigo destorys the head monster.

At first I had a real hard time with WL as Yoruichi because it didn't seem to fit her easy-going character and I agree her voice is too emotionless but I'm starting to get a little used to it. I liked it when Yoruichi was naked in front of Ichigo and he was freaking out. Come to think of it I also liked it when Orihime started to undress in front of Uryu. Can anyone sense a theme here?

Well for the record, they messed up that scene dub wise. Yoruichi lifts her shirt up on purpose, to show Ichigo "his last chance at seeing a woman." They made her say nothing like it was in the Japanese.

I don't listen to the dub and have never heard her voice pronounced (even the Bleach DS game's dub doesn't really mention character names). That said, it's supposed to be pronounced something like this: Soi (soy) Fon (f+on, on as in "the cat is ON the table"). Phone is...well, that just doesn't make any sense at all. Considering shounen dubs these days, though, I wouldn't put it past them.
