They will destroy you. (http://www.craigslist.org/about/best/lax/182862349.html)
I would have pasted the text since it isn't too long but it contains some profanity.

I can't say that my experience was anything near similar, but the first time I ate something (accidently) with Olean, I got very ill. I later found out what I'd eaten, and have avoided the stuff ever since.
It amazes me that people in the US are so desperate to lose weight without effort that they'll put something like Olean inside them rather than simply modify their diet & exercise a bit.

Olean in the fat-free Pringles gave me stomach cramps as well.

I ate a mini can of those a long time ago, and nothing happened.
Tasted like **** though, perhaps this is the reason why...

Wow, that has got to be the nastiest thing ive ever read. Funny but very nasty

That's just horrible...At this point, I'd usually say, "Horribly funny, that is!" However, I'll be the bigger man this time and let it go...That's friggin' hilarious!
But, some good came of this dude's experience...Now, we all know to avoid this Olean or Olestra. According to the little article thingy I read, the FDA removed the warnings from products containing Olean in 2003, because consumers were "now aware of Olestra's 'GI effects'..." FDA, are you telling me I should just automatically know about every friggin' synthetic MM these bastards feel like pulling out of their molecule manipulating *****?!! (False Rage).
But, that's like so totally a good idea for slimming down... Instead of taking in naturally-occuring fat, just eat the stuff your body can't digest. You won't gain any weight from eating it, of course, seeing as how your body can't do anything with it... It's coming out...in it's ORIGINAL form. Thus, the *** Grease. That's so nasty, but it's like so funny, too. And, I guess it's all like hydrophobic maybe, so you gotta scrub like extra hard to get rid of it... Disgusting, really...Disgustingly funny, that is... *Cough* Nevermind... He's so lucky he wasn't in public.

I heard about this ALLLOOONNNGG time ago. I'm talking like 1999. It was in a grocery store, I asked my mom to get a can of those to try them, and she told me they made people poop their pants without even realising it. I have yet to eat them...

While I did not crap my pants that olean stuff will give you horrible diarrhea
http://www.cspinet.org/new/calestra.htm
CSPI's report to the U. S. Food and Drug Administration regarding the 187 cases of Olestra poisoning described the symptoms that most often appeared. Of the 187 individuals, 157 (84%) reported suffering abdominal cramps and 153 (82%) reported diarrhea. Other people reported fecal urgency, incontinence, hyperborborigmus, flatus, anal leakage, oily fecal matter, nausea and vomiting. One report came from a family of seven in which both parents and all five children experienced abdominal cramps and diarrhea. Sixty-four people reported suffering severe enough symptoms to cause them to miss school or work. Several people were endangered when they experienced the onset of symptoms while driving. Others suffered the additional physical and emotional humiliation of not making it to the bathroom in time.

The Fat-Free alternatives are ALWAYS worse for you because all they do is replace the natural oils with man-made chemiclas and additives. SAme WIth Diet and Caffiene free pop. Diet Pop's make me sick to my stomach

Yep, with the exception of milk, I avoid fat free products like the plague. Naturally, I do not seek the fattiest products available, but there are non-olestra/olean altertnatives to snacking. Lays' baked line is really good. It's not healthy, but it's healthier.
Fat-Free is bad, Sugar-Free can be worse...funny how the substitutes with "free" in the name makes you a slave to the toilet.

I dont drink fat-free milk, only 2% for me. A proper diet has fat as apart of it and Milk has "good" fat in it. Skim Milk is watered down and actually goes through a lengthier process for shelving. Just drink 2% or at least 1%

point in case, fat-free milk doesn't have any chemicals or addatives; it's literally fat free.
As for my personal diet, that's another discussion entirely ;)

Yeck. No wonder I religiously only eat full-fat food. And yet I'm just skin and bones.

The trick is to eat slow like a cow. ^_- Plus I suffer from hypoglycemia so I actually need to eat sugary things a lot or else I faint.
