Ok so pickles133 is officially banned. It saddens me as the user behind the awesomeness to see moderators kick me off this forum. I've definitely warmed everyone's hearts and constituted no wrong doing. Oh well...I guess this forum couldn't contain my awesomeness.

Matter at hand: I do not believe I violated any rules by posting "Ask Pickles" thread as it is an Off-Topic thread that wasn't spammed. I mean, it was a place where anyone could ask questions to me and I would give my response. Nothing wrong with that. Maybe a moderator got jealous or something...far be it for me to judge...The thread is just like every other Off-topic post (looks at "Comment on the person above you", "Do you really have a soul", "What are you listening to") Seriously, pickles133 should not be banned on any basis you guys have stated on the FAQ post-Randomness Thread.


So I created this new account because I felt inclined to answer ryushe's question on my "Ask Pickles" Thread (http://animenation.net/forums/showthread.php?t=197031)


Question: pickles, In a clear and concise answer, Why are you so awesome? Use detail's if needed.


Because the moderators don't like me...or something, I bet I will only get one post before this account is banned. Anyways, I don't feel like creating the millions of "bring pickles back from the dead" accounts so this is my last hurrah. Too many rules on this forums constrict my awesomeness.

So to answer your question ryushe, I will share my secret with you since you are one of my better fans :naughty: Basically the source of my awesomeness comes from a tiny crystal imbedded in my left testicle. I first noticed it when my left testicle was larger than my right one and decided to investigate. Low and behold, it held a vast power commonly known as "awesomeness". I decided to share my awesomeness with the world but as you know, the world rejects things that appear omnipotent (Jesus Christ, Wal-mart, and the like) so I was put into isolation. In my isolation, I met Joeshie...commonly known as "the ***" or "******um maximus" in latin. There he and I decided to team up and become an indestructible force...my awesomeness and his ******ry...an unbeatable combination. We conquered all who opposed us, much like Megaman (me) and Rush (joeshie) defeated Dr. Wily and his goonies (summary of villians found here (http://www.sydlexia.com/megaman.htm) )

But alas, all this came to an end when Joeshie joined this forum. I thought I had lost my comrade when he was sucked into the void known as anime. I didn't know what I could do...my awesomeness wasn't enough to turn Joeshie back. So I decided to join my fallen ally in a quest to conquer the Animenation forums and pull him out of this vortex. I showed portions of my awesomeness and became somewhat of a celebrity. However, this was shortlived...specifically one day. After getting banned, I realized something. In the end...I guess it was not meant to be. Joeshie would forever be entwined in this forum, leaving me alone once to roam the night once again.

That is my story. Perhaps my awesomeness is my curse. I am left alone because moderators fear me and kick me out. I will be with all of you in awesomeness spirit. Everything attributed with the word awesome...will remind you of me.

So with that I take my leave, only to return if this forum wants my awesomeness once more (and it desperately needs it :shifty: ) Peace out all...Its been fun. Good Game moderators.

You'd better go ahead and enjoy this while you can, moderators, because if your evil genie goes ahead and grants your wish and I'm gone forever, then the only one you're going to be able to contend with around here is yourself. I didn't see anything that pickles did that was worthy of banning, besides mild trolling in a couple of threads. But the mods are psychos, so I'm not that surprised.

I always thought TRUE awesomeness could be found in one's ability to adapt the expression of one's awesomeness to fit the current situation. Rather than constricting one's awesomeness, I would think that the rules of AN would merely allow you to focus on aspects of your awesomeness that you might not normally share.

At any rate, creating a user account after a ban is itself a bannable offense, so good luck with that.

Regarding your earlier thread of Ask Pickles: If there was a place for that thread, it would have been in PB&G, but since querying condiments isn't much of a game, it would have been deemed a conversation thread and locked. I'd hazard a guess that the reason you were banned was not so much for making that one individual thread, but for making several such threads, even after the first few were locked. That's trolling, which isn't considered kosher on AN, even when a pickle does it.

Well now is different story, But before I didn't see a reason for him to be banned either. I've seen a few members make threads sorta like his or make obscene comments in topics and don't get a slap on the wrist or nothing, Plus people actually responded to the threads in a civil manner. Some people need to learn how to chill once in a while IMO.

I've been banned for something I haven't even done on this forum; although I don't hold their moderation style against them, they can overdo it quite a bit.

Although strict moderation is much better for my tastes than barely moderated at all. Take Elite Hunting for example; you can't even get banned for starting an all-out flamewar there.

Doesn't really matter to me. In the short time he was here, he was a troll, but mostly ignorable. I haven't got a doubt in my head that he WOULD have been a flamebaiting troll, so even if he was banned on precognition, I won't argue the point.

Im new to the forum and I was intrigued by this topic. It seems to be a rehashed theme every forum about moderators. I've been a moderator before and its tough because you are expected to keep order in a forum filled with so many different people with different ways of expressing themselves. In the end though, it just comes down to if the guy broke rules.

Now I haven't read very much of this guy (and from what I hear there isn't much to read) but from what I've seen so far...it seems like he's just poking and proding the mods - a bannable offense if misconstrued. Its all about how one interprets his words. But I'll keep looking around for the other stuff before I make a final opinion for myself
