I'm sort of confused at the moment as to which is the most powerful Zeon bazooka. I know that a shells overall power isn't based solely on it's diameter but thats all I have to go on with MS weapons; specifically the Dom.

So my question is; which is more powerful, the 360mm Giant Bazooka or the 880mm Raketen Bazooka? :uhh: Obviously 'Giant Bazooka' sounds more powerful but the difference in the shell calibre's suggest otherwise. And whilst we're on the subject, wouldn't the Raketen Bazooka be more powerful than the Xamel's 680mm?

880mm is roughly twice the size of 360mm. The simplest solution is usually the best.

I would agree. When dealing with something like a bazooka in space, you don't have to worry about factoring yaw/tumbling into the equasion to worry about which is more effective. The most powerful round will be the largest but sometimes the most powerful isn't the most effective.

Yes, and no.

The larger round is usually more powerfull then smaller rounds, but no always the case. The other factor is muzzle velocity. A smaller round at high speeds, will cause more damage then a larger round moving slower.
