Its impossible but you never know or you realized that you actually popularized something. So which is it?

Um... people that know me in person don't copy me ever. Perhaps bringing scanned Hell Teacher manga to the internet helped popularize the series among spanish speaking fans.

I liked black furniture and a certain way of decorating before it even became popular (that stuff seems like it's in style these days).

Unfortunately, Evangelion, back when I was obsessed over the series. I lent my boxset to a few people, and before I knew it I created fanboy monsters with a lust for Misato Katsuragi.

It didn't last that long, however, since they moved onto other anime.

<I'll stick with anime influences, since I can't recall others right now.>

Dr. Akira Katsuragi of Evangelion, Misato's father. ;)
Reichu popularized the way he looks and his first name however, which has been used one wikipedia as if it were canonical. XD
At wonder RL school, the "style" of anime/manga is not look at with disdain in terms of design, partly because I draw it so much but also incorporate other aspects into the influence when I do art at school( The INtraded "anee-may club" who laughs at every portion of ridiculous anime dubs of mediocre are severely hampering my efforts though. I pretend it doesn't exist. =P )

Actually the computers in my shop class (carrer major) are pretty crappy. The people there usally go on forums or just brag about their characters to each other.

I work in the hardware section on the shop (where I have access to the new G5 Macs they ordered....but are very cautious about people touching them) but I maybe could install WoW if I had a reason they would believe.

(By the way, I'm not in College, I go to a trade school which serves as high school. I'm a senior though so It will be college for me after this year).

that's not the only thing you've made fanboys out of, you got me into Bleach, and somewhat of a Magic fan. as well as some Fruits basket, and role playing among the forums.

I made high level Street Fighter the in thing with the youth back when I was in high school. I miss those days. Challengers coming to you from every corner of the neighborhood claiming they were the best. Times like this I wish I could tell my younger self to challenge them to a money match. :(

In university I started a style of having the smallest laptop possible. On day one everyone had huge ugly clunkers (Dells and IBMs mostly), while I had my sleek and sexy Sony. A month or two later people started showing up with newer and smaller Vaios than my own and Powerbooks as well. Just the other day I saw a kid with a Macbook. Its been bastardized, 'cause no one looks as cool as me and they try to have sleeker laptops.
I also popularized some things in HS but can't remember any right now.

We do somehting similar at work. We put SC3 in the PS2 demo unit, and when someone starts playing we are lke "oh, are you any good?" and usually its "yeah, mitsirugi is my boy!", or "I'm good with Kilik"

Thats usually our que to issue a challenge. We are always challenging customers, and talking ****. so fun.
You dont **** with the guys that work at the game store.

LMAO!

I haven't really made anything popular. I did turn a few friends into Scryed fans if that counts for anything.
