Anyone going to get this game? I am, hopefully there will be a ton of new stuff also added in. I heard of a new pirate class or something like like and a green magic class, etc. Also I hope the translation is better then the USA PS1 version.

Yeah, I will get it. The four new classes are: Necromancer, Cannoneer, Prophet, and Gladiator. I love the job system of FFV and I am looking forward to these new jobs.

I cannot wait for FFVI Advanced also.

I will be grabing this as well...
I didn't know they were adding new classes though :)

I'll probably get it at somepoint. FFV wasn't my favorite (that goes to FF6), but it was still pretty darn good.

I actually disliked FFV (Thats the one with Butz, right) but I'll still get it. Never know, I might grow to like it and beside portable RPG's are gold, gold I tell you.

I'm REALLY looking forward to it. I mastered every single job in the original and did everything but beat Shinryu.

I'm looking forward to the new jobs for the sole reason that their addition will make job mastering an even more grueling, miserable, drawn out matter.

I already have FFV for the PS1. But I am still looking forward to the release of FFV Advanced! I am definitely buying it!

Only 4 or so days until 5 Advance is released. Anyone else anticipating it, or am I the only one really looking forward to it?

Never really cared for FFV on the PS1, but I might have to give it a second opinion. Though I can't get through console RPGs, I love handheld ones. Might actually enjoy it this time around. I'm definitely going to get FFVI when it comes out though, loved that game. Now if only Square could port Chronotrigger, my life would be complete.

I already have it in the Final Fantasy Anthology for PS1, but I think I might get it to play on the road and such. I already have FFIV on PS1 and SNES and I bought that for GBA, after all.

I got to get FFV Advance sometime, but I'm too addicted to FFXII even after beaten the game, more side quests to do. But after I drain all that there is to FFXII then I'll buy FFVA and FFIIIDS.

The translation is much improved. Faris doesn't speak in the ridiculous pirate speak anymore from what I've heard (too busy w/ 12 to play 5).

I bought FFV Advance even though I'm still playing FFXII. I'll probably ignore it until I finish FFXII or play it while on breaks at work.

I'll have to get FFV Advance eventually. But FF3 DS gets priority. Those are probably the two most similar FF games out there, so there is no reason to jump into both at the same time.

Whoa, I never heard of this O.o... FFV was MY favorite FF game, that is so awesome :D So...this is for the GBA? O.o.. I am very curious to how the new classes will be obtained o.o... Will there be a new shard from every crystal shattered, or will there be like a 5th Crystal in an unknown dungeon? :S

Note to all Canadians, if you're buying a FFV Advance, buy one at Wal-Mart. My bro got it there just for 20 bucks o.o

'Cept now they added all these weird jokes/references to it, making it one of the most off-kilter and inaccurate translations ever. :P

Not like it's a bad thing, since the references are funny. Especially the Simpsons reference in World 1 where a scholar says he's "s-m-r-t smart." And there's also some meme and anime references in there as well. :)

I just got this game! I hope to try it out tommorrow! It looks so good! I cant wait to play it! I am looking forward to the release of FF VI Advance. Does anyone know when it is supposed to be out? Also, I am wondering since they are redoing all of the FF games if they will ever be able to manage redoing FF VII?

For ps3, is it that hard to go to ign or gamespot?

There are no known plans for remaking FF7 at the moment, but they will remake it someday.
