So with the new iTunes and such, I've gotten all my pictures on my iPod, all my pics from concerts and whatnot, but when I tried to upload vids onto it, it wouldn't work. So I clicked the files and changed them so they were iPod compatable, but for some reason through that file change, it lost audio. So it's just a soundless movie.

Help appreciateed. :)

Were you able to put them on the ipod before? And are these videos bought from the itunes store?

No, I love the new iTunes. It's got nothing to do with that...it went on with the before iTunes and it was still sondless.

I don't even know if somethings wrong, maybe I just did something or what not. Maybe I need a program....

And no, these are videos from my camera.

I have a program I can hook you up with, and there's a few others at download.com (http://download.com) . If you want the program I use, which works well with just about anything except .wmv (it's 50/50 with wmv), send me a PM or something and we'll make arrangements.

iTunes 7.0 is unstable for Windows users. Most are having too many problems with it and I have yet to see a hotfix released. My iPod had an I/O error with 7.0 thus making it useless (seeing as it couldn't boot up properly) for a few days.

Your better off downgrading.

Different sort of question...

Anybody ever try the program ephPod? My iPod's battery is starting to get pretty bad, so I bought something that can extend the iPod's battery using a 9-volt battery.

The only thing keeping me from returning my iPod is that it has so much of my music on it. And after extracting from CDs, I put them on my iPod, and delete the music from my computer because it takes up a lot of space.

Somebody recommended ephPod to extract the music from iPod back to computer. But I also heard a lot of...sketchy testimonies about ephPod. Anybody else here ever use it?

Hmm. 7.0 is working fine for me. I like it better. Although I use it just to listen. I don't own an Ipod.

I haven't actually used it, but I have used iPodRip for mac (there is also a Windows version (http://www.download.com/iPodRip-Win/3000-2169_4-10448952.html?tag=lst-0-2) ) and it does exactly what it says it does. That's the only thing I can really recommend from experience.

Much like Videl, I haven't had any problems with 7.0 yet, not even with the ipod. However it annoys the hell out of me that it tries to determine gapless playback for all my music everytime I add a song.
Oh and kenshinbebop, were you able to find a program? I didn't ask you what OS you were using. In case you use mac, there is a program called iSquint (http://www.isquint.org/) that you should look into. Its free and works with many filetypes and converts them to h264 that work with your ipod (eliminating that sound issue that not even Quicktime Pro seems to get rid of).
