Hey does anyone have the superfan package from Directv? Now that I have my 67” DLP TV set up with HDTV I’m thinking watching games in HD should be happening. Saw this site: www.heybuttercup.com wanted to know what “up to 9 games in HD every Sunday” means realistically.

I don't have that cause I don't have DirectTV, however I do have the NFL package on IO. Oh yeah! Every game thats playing every time it's playing.

It's a random guess which 9 will be broadcasted in HD. Fox is really good about broadcasting in 720p, while NBC hasn't made up its mind about 1080i/p broadcasts. ESPN is horrible since they save their HD games for one channel.

Hm, random, huh? Oh well. I suppose most of the games I want to see will probably be in HD. I ordered sunday ticket and superfan today. Serious football this weekend. Ahhh. If anyone has it, do you know how they work the audio for the 8 games on 1 screen channel? Is it silent, or a mix, or what?

It's a mono audio mix per screen.

Aha, cool, thanks. I had the best weekend. This weekend was phenomenal. Love the superfan. The awesomeness of all my football in HD I could have predicted. My two male football buddies going ape over the NFL cheerleaders in HD was that extra bit of entertainment I needed, but didn't know was coming.
