Kurogane & Fai (Tsubasa Chronicles)?

Since there has been so many pairings threads in this forum, I thought I might add one of my favorite slashable pairings.

What do you think?

And im sorta ashamed to say that the main reason i bought the Tsubasa manga was because I was so crazy about this pairing :doh:

I have only seen them through xxxHolic. But Fai seems to like to tease Kurogane. But Jurogane seems to hate it pretty badly. Of course, that is part of a slashable pairing....which can almost make them canon.

Matt, I didn't realize you read xxxholic. It's a very good series.

Yes, Fai loves to tease Kurogane through the entire series. But I think their relationship really became strong after spending so much time together in the land of Shura (chapter 69, Book 10).

But, the best ones are the current ones being released in Japan, chapters 120 through 128 (as of tonight) where
Kurogane forces Fai to become a vampire and stay alive! And the price he pays is being Fai's 'prey', where Fai can only take Kurogane's blood. Do you see in these chapters how carefully Kuro-pii carries Fai, and keeps him so close? I can't wait for Fai to wake up!

Also, I understand Kuro's reaction in the land of Outo, when he thought Fai was "eaten" by the oni.
Since his father was killed and eaten infront of him, Kurogane had a painful look on his face as he thought of Fai being "eaten".
I can't wait for the next chapter to be released!

If there is love in that relationship it's all Fai. Your spoiler was too tempting not to read April but I'll withhold judgement till I get there myself. I dunno though, it may just be that Fai likes to tease. Being Clamp though, I wouldn't put it past em :P

A version of Tomoyo does show in Tsubasa in Piffle World in Volume 10, which is already out in the US and she's into Sakura like her version in Cardcaptor Sakura. Plus, I think that Nihon version of Princess Amaterasu, Princess Tomoyo's older sister and Suoh may be "close", but I'm not sure.

And everyone going gaga over the latest chapter is driving me nuts. >A< I'm trying to be a good consumer and wait until Volume 16 in Japanese comes out. Egad, I hafta wait one more month. Damn.

To me, Kurogane and Fai obviously have something more than friendship going on. In the latest chapters that are being released in Japan it is easy to see just how much Kurogane is willing to do for Fai; in a way it reminds me of how Syaoran is deticated to Sakura.

Aside from personal opinion the manga holds so many valid hints to this relationship; may have been mentioned above so I wont go into that but one thing that no one has mentioned is a section in the official Tsubasa character guide. The section I'm talking about is the "Character advice Column" where a question for advice is asked and Fai give advice.
Well, I scanned the bit between him and Kurogane and for me, this pretty much tells me that their relationship is intended to become a fully canon romantic pairing. And thus; here is the scan:

I'm sure CLAMP, just like most of their series, have intended from the beginning that Kuro and Fai are going to end up becoming lovers. You can tell from the beginning that Kuro and Fai are a possible couple from the character designs. Fai looks like the typical uke and Kuro looks like the typical seme who gets annoyed at the uke for being so distracting. But in this case, Kuro doesn't seem to be annoy at Fai. He gets all red and mad when Fai calls him different "cute" names. And now that CLAMP's made Fai to have Kuro to live is such a huge indication! (I hope that wasn't a spoiler. I didn't exactly say what he needs him to survive)

In my opinion, Kuro and Fai will definitely become lovers but just not yet. You can tell from the latest chapters that they're distancing themselves because they don't want to hurt each other. (I guess it's just Fai since Kuro has been trying to get Fai to get back to normal)....

Anyway, I heard Tsubasa is going to end very soon so I guess we'll know the answer pretty soon!
