Indecicive Cosplayer needs help!

Hello, I'm going to the sugoaicon (excuse my horrific spelling!) at the beginning of next year ('07), but I can't decide who I want to cosplay as!! I have previously cosplayed as Dita from Chobits, and now I am considering two not-so-common characters.

I say Maeve from Mark of the Succubus. Now, haven't seen this (it sounds a little hentaiish anyways...), but her costume is ultra cute! Plus, it seems like it would be easier to make than the first one. That's just me though.

Thank you both! Oh, and MotS isn't a hentai at all! It's a really cute manga about a succubus teen who is learning all about what she is, and she has to choose wether or not she wants to be loyal to her kind, or be in love with a human boy. It's actually really good! And she's soooo cute!!! :heart:

Her name isn't Slash, It's A.B.A. Slash is just the 3rd version of the game, "Guilty Gear XX: Slash".

Anyway, A.B.A. if you can pull it off right would be way more impressive than the other one I think

I recently found out that I will be able to attent the entire con, so I was thinking of doing both costumes and coming up with a third. Do any of you have any suggestions for a third costume?

Thank you all! I was also considering going as Lain, but I figured that her outfits were too generic (aka real-world) and no one would be able to tell who I was.

It's one I considered making at one point. I could pull it off...since my hair is rather long and whatnot. Hmm..but, I'd like to see someone else attempt it first, to tell you the truth ^_^.

^ Yes, I like it. Definite improvement, I really couldn't come up with anything. I thought about the Lain thing to but disregarded it for the same reasons. Anyway, what do you think Ko_Neko_Sama? Do you think you can pull off Shiroiyuki's suggestion?

hmm Neko_sama...... you should try Maeve first its probably a lot easier to make, but if you went with A.B.A it'd be an awesome cosplay outfit but if you also go with A.B.A wouldnt you have to make the Key as well? luggin that thing around would look cool but i think you'd have to consider the drawbacks. but in addition you could also try this character on for size too :Akari from " This ugly yet Beautiful World" (http://img.verycd.com/posts/0603/post-407488-1142396666.jpg)

For me to be able to pull off Shiroiyuki's suggestion, I would have to get a wig or go with a shortened version of her hair (but I like to be a much like the character as possible, so I'd probably drop the bucks to get the wig). I like Kevin K's suggestion too, but again, I would have to get a wig.

For the A.B.A costume, I was thinking of making the key out of block styrofoam and then stretching some sort of metalic-looking fabric or gold foil over it to cut back on weight. Do you all think this is a good idea, or should I try something else?

Yeah, Kevin K's is cool and all but Shiroiyuki's will probably look, "relatively" much better. Well whatever you decide... (nevermind maybe I'll PM you later if that's okay).
