Now that I've stated what half of you people probably came to this thread to do...

What do ya'll think ofthe new iTunes. Full length movies, games, etc?

If only the movies didn't cost 13 bucks.

movies on the ipod is kinda dumb really. they should've sorted out the battery better before they released the video iPod. 2 hours of video is hardly enough. i use mine for what it was meant for.music

I didn't know the new iPods came out, or the new version of iTunes. I think it's time to replace my iPod Mini...

Don't think the new one's gonna fly so well. I mean, you can do that stuff on a PSP too, but who knows? I know some die hard Apple people. They'd probably get whatever apple came out with, regardless of what it was like.

It's not so much a new iTunes as a updated version. Like the updates they have on a pretty much monthly basis...

iPOds rock. Haven't uploaded the new iTunes yet. So I can't say.

Movies don't do anything for me, unless Ipods suddenly come with 10" screens like my portable.

Yeah unless you have a 5th generation iPod, it doesn't effect you.

The new itunes is okay, though according to the system reqs it won't be able to run on my old G3. Man I love that thing... Anyway, yeah itunes looks snazzier, so thats a plus in my book, but it makes my laptop and G3 (my favorite comps) feel a bit obsolete (not so much the laptop but it is almost time to get a new one T_T). It runs awesome on my dad's G4 and G5 though.
As to the movies, I don't think it will be as successful as the TV shows, but at the same time I don't think it will be a complete failure. I'll buy one or two just for the heck of it.

...actually, i use my PSP as a way to watch newly downloaded fansubs - especially during my breaks at work. comparing the screen size of the PSP to the video iPod - PSP wins. it just so happens my PSP doesnt really have a lot of those "dead pixels".

oh and the iPod was meant for music. lets keep it that way.
