I just finish a marathon of Princess Princess today and was searching on Wikipedia and found something VERY, VERY interesting.
In the second festival epsiode which features Mikoto's sister, Makoto and his girlfriend, Megumi. Megumi felt threated by Yuujirou and Tohru being pretty as she supposedly is. I thought it was a bit weird until I accidently went across this nice bit on infomation. That Megumi...
until 2-3 years ago before her appearance in Princess Princess, lived as a boy named Kei in Tsuda's other work, "The Day of Revolution" (which is coming soon from DMP), which Makoto and Mikoto are in too. Megumi has a genetic disorder called the XX Male Syndrome, which means she's genetically a girl, although her body is entirely male inside and out. Megumi is rare in the case that she rather live the rest of her life as a girl where as the men who are afflicted with this disease usually continue their lives as men. So as a former boy, Megumi's feelings of uncertainty of Mikoto's feelings for her is well justified. Also can mean that Mikoto isn't entirely straight if he's willing to go out with Megumi.
I dunno if could put this here, but most stuff related to PuriPuri is usually on this board, so forgive me for the intrusion.
