Some people were holding out for that 90 minute special to be Kakashi's Gaiden. Well, it's not. 200 and 201 are part of this current arc. 202 sounds like a clip show.
203-205
Confrontation between Love and Hate, Students and Teachers...
Genin and Jounin all come together in this rampaging 90-minute special!
More filler. If you want to hold out for hope, it looks like the silly missions are at least over. At least these episodes look watchable and every character should be involved like they are in this Konoha 11 arc. Might signify we are near the end.

And hopefully, the beginning of the end. Not the end of the end, we don't want Naruto to end right before where we thought would be the start of the Kakashi Gaiden now, do we?

Crap... just read the thread regarding it... *sigh* Ah well. At least... One Piece is canon material at the moment... even though we have to wait a few weeks for just one episode...

I heard that the filler is supposed to end around that time, will the real time skip start then, because I heard naruto goes with jiriaya for a while and he hasnt yet, so I am just like wtf, can anyone make me up to date on what happens in between naruto 201 and the latest manga as short as possible please, all I know is that a group of teams save gaara, naruto is stronger, every1 else are not genin anymore, and thats about it

Best to ask that in a manga discussion since spoilers are a plenty.

I am actually beginning to think they're going to wait until next year to start back to cannon material again.
The fillers began on 05/25/05 with episode 136. It's already been well over a year. I actually think they are going to wait and make it either a year and a half, or a full two years of filler.
The filler episode amounts are already in the 60's. If they wait around to make it a full two years, they'll be close to having as many filler episodes as canon episodes.
But when you really think about how the manga arcs are setup, this is really the only way they could do fillers.

...what's the point of watching the anime again?
I'll hold out to 225. Then I'm completely done altogether with the anime.

I stopped watching it when it went filler. And I'll start watching again when it goes back. Don't feel like I'm missing anything, because even if some of the filler episodes turn out decent, I'm better off spending that time on something else. I advise similar if you're not enjoying it. As, at the moment, I'm quite used to not looking forward to an episode every week.
The manga's certainly a perk though.

Meh, I stopped watching the fillers at 187, shortly after 186, Laughing Shino.
