i have to go with the manga, but it's a very close call
there both great IMO, but when the stories started differing i have to think that the manga got the better of the two

Manga, its the genuine article. Everything story/art wise done by Goddess Arakawa herself. No handing it off to third party animators to screw things up.
Only 4 more days til 63!

With crow-kun's pictures in the Fullmetal thread he might convince me that the manga is better. No chance I like the anime better the manga is still great tho. ^_^

^LOL! Well I like her work so she can't hate me. ^_^ *bow the Goddess of Cows*
The anime and manga are both great. I still need to get the last manga release of FMA. I'm so behind... :(

Don't worry. you'll get caught up eventually. As for me, I'd say that the anime is the best. But, there is stuff that the manga has in it but Anime don't. But in an article in a magazine I have the FMA anime has stuff that the manga doesn't.

^yeah when they made the switch from manga to anime they did change things and leave some things out. I noticed this already since reading up to the 8th manga. So it is good for anyone to read the manga and watch the anime. ^_^

Well, I'm gald that you are so kind as to letting me borrow & read your FMA manga. I can now enjoy the best of both worlds! I hope to get to start reading the one you lent me tommorrow. I wonder something though. Why is it when they make the anime that somethings are left out and other stuff is added? Why don't they make the anime almost or the same as the manga? But maybe if they did, the anime and the reading of manga's experiences wouldn't be as enjoyable?

^That question might be better answered by a manga expert. Seeing that I've only read FMA so far and am a beginner basically I'm not really sure. Maybe crow-kun may know. :)

Well, I'm a beginner too. But from what I read in that one magazine of mine, there is differences in the manga from the anime. crow-kun, would you know about this?

*Has an idea what crow-kun will say* I think it has to do with who worked on the FMA anime.

*Has an idea what crow-kun will say* I think it has to do with who worked on the FMA anime.Have you not seen the Shaman King anime? The manga is great but the anime turned into a steaming pile. Who was the wise-*** that came up with those stupid girls? I'll talk about Fullmetal Alchemist later. It's getting late I have to beat Shadow of the Colossus again. The damn phone starting ringing right when I was watching the ending GAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!
