Live Action FMA?!? O_o

I was at the store today and bought an anime magazine. Beckett(sp?) I am a terrible speller sometimes. :lol: Anyways...I was reading the little article about the FMA Live Action Movie. I was a little shocked for who they would have play Edward. Nicole Kidman as Lust and the dude from the Matrix as Roy. (Sorry I forget how to spell his name O_o) Gwen Paltrow as Riza. I don't have the magazine here at my desk so I'm going on memory right now. Did anyone else see the little article for this in either this magazine or any other? Thoughts?

My bet is that it's a joke. I mean, come on, live-action FMA? Just the amount of cash they'd have to pay these actors would be more than they could ever make from both cinema tickets and dvd/vhs sales...

I dunno. It might be interesting to see a live action movie. Get some actors that don't cost that much and make it. The actors they had in the magazine for most of the main characters are really high paid actors.

while i dont think the chance of a live-action film is impossible, the list of actors/actressess doing the film is impossible :P

if a live action version were made any a-list celebs who were to star in it, would probably be anime fans(in perticular FMA fans) and i dont think there are that many out there

also when refering to " that guy from the matrix" r u referring to keanu reeves, cause the would be the most wooden acting in the world and would ruin the godlyness of Roy Mustang

Anime magazines have a tendency to do stories like "if there were a live action movie of this made, these would be the actors."

IMHO, it'll be a long time before we see any live action American movies based on anime.

There's a live action Neon Genesis Evangelion trilogy being made now and James Cameron is wrapping up work on a trilogy for Battle Angel.

If they cast Arnold as Armstrong that might actually make me wanna see it more. Armstrong doesn't have too many dramatic scenes in the series and if they are dramatic, its usually something about him being strong and tough. Its not like he has to really act hard to come off as big and tough... thats gonna happen by default.

LOL. Arnold would be hilarious though as Armstrong. I know he can pull of the action based stuff and I think he'd be funny as heck on the light hearted stuff. But I doubt they could get Arnold unless he was a super fan of the show and didn't demmand his usual $20M+ per film.

Actually, it was quite humorous. The voice actors played their respective parts in the real world. It was amazing.

from what i have seen, Winry is awesome. Those fangirls are just idiots and dont have any good reason for hating Winry.
