So you get 5000 law enforcement officials saying to legalize illegal drugs. It will never happen. I like their logic to get rid of orginized crime make drugs legal. Wait abolishing prohibition did not get of crime they simply moved to other venues and are still around 70 years later.

My Great Great Grandpa, who was a Rough Rider in the Spanish-American war and then a Soldier in WWI made moonshine during Prohibition! :O
I hope they illegalize alcohol so I can revive the family buisness!!!

There is more organized crime in law enforcement than anywhere else. Probibition will remain as long as various groups and individuals in the government continue to make more money with the substances being illegal.

my family has a history fo bootlegging as well :P honestly, if i knew it wouldnt make organized crime stronger, i'd be all for prohibition. i cant stand alcohol and what it turns people into... now, legalized weed, i'm all for that, at least with weed, you'd rather sit around and eat, instead of wanna argue, fight, and then get into a car and drive while intoxicated. -_-;

THats a load os BS.
And tere are cities where the police ave bigger problems to worry aout then arresting people with pot and crack, instead of arresting them tehy write a citation and make the suspect destroy all teh drugs, although they still arrest the people that have large quantities and trafficiers
And peoelp can still get very Violent or start "freaking" out on weed

Well, it is hard to find a good irish cop these days who will tell ya to just get a room, instead of taking ya to the slammer. crooked cops are a dime a dozen it seems.

Matter of fact, I've never seen The Shield. Is it a movie or a series?
I only remember all those accusations against them for police brutality.
