I just watched the first 10 minutes on IGN and wow, I'm impressed and now I want to actually watch the whole film. Has anyone on AN checked it out, if so, what did you think and please no spoilers.
I heard you don't need to have watched House of 1000 Corpses to enjoy this one, and I know the basic plot to the first one and etc, so if I do watch it, I'm guessing it will be after I watch Devil's Rejects.

I watched it and wasn't too impressed. I don't like films that make serial killers out to have "God like" cleverness.
Edit: Like Michael Myers from the Halloween movies. Mufugger be walkin' when his victims be runnin' and he still kills 'em. :rolleyes:

It was decent. I didn't like how the Seriel killers were portrayed. As friggin' heroes.

Just finished it, but I actually admire how Rob Zombie was able to make the viewer sympathetic to them and he actually gave us a backstory to them. I liked the film.
From seeing this film, he's a really good director, I'm looking forward to whatever's next.

It was pretty good. Not as good as House IMO.
Funny that someone mentioned Michael Myers as Rob Zombie will be making the next Halloween movie.

^ Is that true?
I only mentioned Michael Myers as an example of ISKS (Invincible Serial Killer Syndrom), didn't think he had anything to do with Rob Zombie.

I thought it was an excellent movie. It kept me on the egde of my seat, since Ive never seen a film like this one. True, like what Solid-Snake said, you felt a bit sympathetic for them. The ending scene was pretty cool, and the song kicked ***.

i didnt feel too sympathetic toward them, well, all except tiny, since he didnt really seem to hurt anyone, he was more of the garbage man of the family i guess, like in house where he let that one girl just walk away, and he waved bye lol
ironic that i'm listening to freebird at the moment :P what a fitting song for the ending ^^
edit: as for Rob directing the next halloween movie, i believe its supposed to be a prequel of sorts.... either that or a direct remake of the first film, i'd have to look it up. but i think its awesome, i've read he's using the original music score for it, which is supreme^^

It's complicated, the studio wanted him to do a sequel, but Zombie wants to do a sort of prequel/remake

good, better than a sequel. i get tired of sequels, AND remakes, but i know rob zombie would at least try to bring back the bill shatner mask, which was much scarier than the current mask for michela, which... is just white o.O;
