I watched the first five episodes of Zeta last night and thought they were pretty cool plus the dub wasn't too bad.
However does anyone else think that the outro is a little too light hearted?

The intro? The lyrics, from what I can make out, are a explaining the situation of Camille in the begining(akihabre?)a bit on the downside, and the beat and popular english chorus are suppose to be more optimistic. The second OP is also more optimistic, but with a decidingly "happy" beat, imo. ZZ's shows a contrast even more with its OP sequences.
Edit: Wow I'm overtired, nevermind the above.^^; Actually, I agree it's upbeat, and I personally I like that fact.

I don't think the replaced outro is any more upbeat than the original one, Hoshizora no Believe.
Besides, a series like Zeta needs to "end" on a good note, might as well be the ending credits.
Magami, outro also means ending theme.

Haven't heard that term in a while, I've grown up with the lazy "ED" excuse.^^;

Am I the only one that thinks the replaced ED sounds like elevator music? If I ever own a building with an elevator I'm adding that music in my elevator......

Yeah, me too; it took me a few seconds to think about it and sort it out, yet I still really don't remember what the replaced outro sounds like...
