Those reading the title must be wonder "how"? "well you just play the cd and listen.." The first question is basically when do you listen to j-pop (i.e. driving, doing sports etc). What I mean when i say "how" is do you listen to the cds via CD player or boom box etc. I guess this can apply to regular CDs but J-pop is speical thus gets its own thread :P

I have an mp3 player in my car, so I can fit around 200+ songs on a disc for driving enjoyment. I also have the incredible luxury of having my own office, so I listen to JPOP 8 hours a day while at work, 5 days a week ^__^
The most ideal time for listening to Jpop is at home in my media room. I have a nice sound system so I can just sit in the room and mellow out while listening to music. I also stream JPOP through my Xbox 360 by sharing it on my PC and linking it with the game system. Nothing quite as cool as kicking *** in Dead or Alive 4 while listening to Maaya Sakamoto hehehe.

Nice setup! To contribute to the thread (i really should have posted this in my first post duh) while i was going to school (driving 20 minutes daily fun fun and will be doing something more like 30 minutes starting next week) I would usually rip a CD full of music and take a new one with me daily. Now that I am actually purchasing the ligit CDs what I may do is something like your setup, get an mp3 player and transfer all the wave audio files to my computer and rip them and put them in the car (no way am i taking the originals ^_^) so hopefully it will work out. When I am home I would play the files off my computer (the ones I had downloaded) and usually play them if surfing the web or doing homework. Also when i used to play warcraft3 alot what I would do with my favorite map is customzie the audio to an OP or ED song so it would play it ever time i played that game.

I immedeatly(?) rip new CD's onto my iPod for instant listening. I listen to my iPod, most of the time JROCK/JPOP, while I do everything. Excersise, jog, drive, work, etc. Music is my life.
As for how, I have pre-set Asian Kung-Fu Generation, pillows, L'arc~en~Ciel, Snowkle, Nine Miles, and Snowkel playlists. Then I have one huge playlist with every Jrock/Jpop song I own. Normally I just put that on shuffle and go about my day.
Otherwise I listen to other music.

I rip CDs onto iTunes, then onto my iPod. I more often than not listen via iTunes while I read, work in a graphics program, etc. on the computer. Sometimes I take my iPod with me, usually for car rides (when I'm not the driver, since I don't have one of those car transfer hookup thingies) or while sitting in bed or long walks.

I put all of the JPop I haven't heard yet into my Archos and listen to it while at work. Unfortunately, my days of hooking it up to speakers and listening to it while in the stockroom are over; I work with people that are not open minded at all when it comes to music (which is strange since I work in a music store to begin with). I just use headphones now.

I do pretty much the same thing ( I have the same MP3 player as Gibb :P )
but I have a shared office so I use headphones but at home I have music play when I sleep and when I'm on the computer I normally listen to some ^_^
I have Last FM on both of the computers (work and home) http://www.last.fm/user/cotmweasel/ ;)

I tend to listen to them mostly in my car. It's especially nice when I'm driving a long distance where I can relax a little more and listen to CDs from begining to end. I can also really turn up the volume without worrying too much about disturbing people around me. Of course I don't get it too loud though. Otherwise, in my room with my computer and headphones is the next best thing for me.
