Has anyone seen this movie? I'd be interested to hear what others thought. I thought it was really interesting to see a movie that showed life through a child's eyes. Its not often that you see an adult movie that is based entirely around the life of children. The acting was amazing, I was blown away by what a good job the actors did. I kept thinking, wow, they are so young, yet so talented!! I also thought the film was very sad, especially the end ( I won't give it away). The realness of the film really struck me as well.

Anyone else see it?

Dunno, has it been subbed?

I saw it. It was fantastic! ...And, yes, the ending was very depressing.

Also, yes, it is localized and subbed. You could say it's one of the respected artistic works that doesn't have a dub option. By the way, it's live action. You're likely able to find it at a rental store in the drama section. ...Or, well, foreign.

I saw it. Pretty bad. The ending had no redemption! It made the rest of the film totally pointless. The end makes you go, "what the **** was that?"

I've been wanting to see this film for quite a while, but never had the chance to. I heard the boy who acted out the part of the main character received the Best Actor award at the 57th Cannes film festival. I'll have to check it out.:)

Ya, the actor is good, but the ending is terrible.

Didn't like it, too depressing for my taste.
