Who is actually going to see this movie when it comes out? It reminds me of how boys acted when I was younger...eating worms and all the little dares.

I remember reading the book back in elementary school, yet I don't remember any parts of it other than the guy actually eating the worms. I still can't believe they made a movie out of it, though.

I won't. :(

Hated the book, so I'll probably won't see the movie.

It's stupid.

Raw earthworms don't even taste bad if you don't chew them.

Very true. Can't say the same for catapillars though. :(

I don't care if I'm male just picturing eating worms is disgusting.

They made us read the book in school. So I probably will avoid it.

The book was so bad that I decided to choke my brother by force-feeding him a tub of earthworms.

I'll pass.

Same and them using ketchup to eat with the worms.

I would much rather see "Frindle" Or A Remake Of a Goosebumps Movie.

Remake? What Goosebumps movie was there to remake?

Well, there weren't much so called "Movies..." Just longer episodes. You COULD make a movie off one of his books though. Seriously, I would love to see Monster Blood, or The BloB That Ate Everything as a full-length film.

You have to chew them unless you want them to wriggle inside you and try to come back up. You also have to chew up crickets and grubs well or they will bite the inside of your stomach and cause ulcers.

I would chew anything that possesses mandibles, but with earthworms there were no problems.

Goosebumps was ok.

There was this one book I can't remember much of, other than this kid was really into comic books and went into a comic world. He defeated the bad guy with water (a bucket and mop or something?). He also was bleeding red yellow and blue dots or something?

Anyway, I was more a fan of "Help, I'm trapped in my sister/dog/presedent/etc's body".

Hmm...I don't know why I'm having such a problem remembering books I used to read as a kid. I dunno, Wayside would be a funny movie maybe. That book was just everywhere.

Or Maybe B.F.G. That's one of my favorite books. That, and Yolanda's Genius.

Ohhhh, oh, oh, oh, ohhh.
It must have been cold there in my shadow,
to never have sunlight on your face.
You were content to let me shine, that's your way.
You always walked a step behind.

So I was the one with all the glory,
while you were the one with all the strain.
A beautiful face without a name for so long.
A beautiful smile to hide the pain.

Did you ever know that you're my hero,
and everything I would like to be?
I can fly higher than an eagle,
for you are the wind beneath my wings.

It might have appeared to go unnoticed,
but I've got it all here in my heart.
I want you to know I know the truth, of course I know it.
I would be nothing without you.

Did you ever know that you're my hero?
You're everything I wish I could be.
I could fly higher than an eagle,
for you are the wind beneath my wings.

Did I ever tell you you're my hero?
You're everything, everything I wish I could be.
Oh, and I, I could fly higher than an eagle,
for you are the wind beneath my wings,
'cause you are the wind beneath my wings.

Oh, the wind beneath my wings.
You, you, you, you are the wind beneath my wings.
Fly, fly, fly away. You let me fly so high.
Oh, you, you, you, the wind beneath my wings.
Oh, you, you, you, the wind beneath my wings.

Fly, fly, fly high against the sky,
so high I almost touch the sky.
Thank you, thank you,
thank God for you, the wind beneath my wings.

Doesn't stop some brave Korean's from eating live octopi, which I imagine are worse.
Never had the "pleasure" of reading the book HTEFW in school, but I remember seeing it at book fairs, the school based ones in the library where everyone just bought pencils, posters, and CD-rom games.
I don't know anyone who's even considering seeing this movie.

The movie looks awful. I haven't read the book, so that has nothing to do with it. I'd rather not see a movie on such a disgusting subject.

My teacher in HS who came over from Korea said it was a common problem of people choking on them. I think she meant choking to death, but don't hold me to that part.

It's all in how you twirl it!

Choshou, the break into the lyrics, while awkward, was exceedingly funny and cool.

I'm so going to steal that method and use it on myspace.

Just so you know.

I've had that signature for probably a week now.

And you're the first to notice. True, ain't it? ;)

Actually I noticed it a couple days ago, but it wasn't talking about me. Now it is, haha.

Worms can't crawl up...You gotta wash 'em down with...Dr Pepper though...And then the acid will pwn them.

I read an article about this movie in Creative Screenwriting.

The book is only 15 days of eating 1 worm a day with lots of description, to make the movie more interesting it's down to 12 worms (if I recall the number) in 1 'magical afternoon' as the screenwriter put it XD. A few characters were added to the cast and fleshed out to make it more interesting. The main theme of courage, proving one self, still remain.

They also made an effort to keep the whole world as low tech as possible, to make it seem almost timeless.

Sounds...decent.
