Just wanted to know if there are any Gackt fans out there? I am a huge fan and just wanted to know if the Famous Singer in Japan is known outside of Nippon.

He's got just an incredble voice, and hardly anyone sings like that anymore. I mean in both style and quality.

I've been addicted to watching funny TV clips of him on youtube recently. He's so cool, and yet, so very funny! And he's so talented! He can do *anything*!

Gackt has a great voice, I love his work. Hey, if you want to get "closer" to him (or "be him" even), pick up the game "Bujingai" for PS2. The main character you play as is modeled after Gackt, and you can unlock interviews with him on it (great game btw; in the vein of Devil May Cry). He also had a voice role in the "New Fist of the North Star" OVA (Seiji); there are interviews with him on the dvd's as well. That's more Gackt for your buck right there XD

I actually got into Gackt by playing Bujingai for PS2. It seems weird, after watching a man twirl and leap and jump and slice and run up walls for hours, you want to get into his work as a singer / musician. (so I borrowed a copy of an old Malice Mizer tape from a friend the next day, then after listening to it, decided to hunt down his back-catalogue and buy some CDs...)

The copy I have is the Asian version of Bujingai, and I always wondered; are the Gackt extras available in the localised (USA? UK?) versions? Are they subbed? I thought the game wouldn't have been nearly as good without the extras, but at the same time, I always thought "why would they bother to keep the Gackt interviews on the UK version? No-one knows Gackt!" so I was wondering whether they were still in there.

He's pretty cool. I do love his Mizarable (The 6th day version), My sis on the other hand, just about a Gackt, HYDE and Miyavi Fangirl. She even bought MoonChild after reading so many bad reviews (It wasn't that bad though) just because Gackt and HYDE were in it.

Gackt is probubly one of the best Japanese male voices.

As for him being a 600 year old vampire, I can attest that he is not. I am a 700 year old vampire and I know for a fact that vampires are neither Japanese nor gothic. Vampires live perfectly normal lives in immortality and not emo sexual sadist goth blackness.

So far the only Gackt song I've heard is "Maria" (I think that was the name). I liked it, but his style is somewhat strange (his voice jiggles so much when he sings that it sounds like he's signing while leaning against something vibrating like crazy).
