Why was Amarao trying to kill Canti in the ep. 5 of FLCL?

If MM wanted to use Canti from the beginnig, they would no give no 'after the fact approval' to Amarao (Amarao: 「Medical Mechanicaには事後承諾だ」, ep 5., around 4:50).

If Canti was broken and was causing problems to MM, what is the point of actions after the Terminal Core 'ate' hime?

I can see only one reason why Amarao would try to destroy Canti: he (Amarao) is stupid ><

okay, Amarao is a Jackass, but he is right for trying to kill canti, because he can use the powers of Atomsk, as seen at the end of the ep.5 Brittle bullet. however, Kitsuribami is an idiot so she failed miserably
