The stuff about to come up The Vizards, Rukia's Shikai (when did she get so strong) and Orihime almost kissing Ichigo. I cannot wait for the fillers to end.

.

Yeah, it's pretty exciting stuff. I keep thinking how awesome the fights will be when its animated. I actually like the filler arc though (best filler I've EVER seen by far), but I'm definitely looking forward to the anime getting back to the manga storyline. Hopefully it won't be too much longer.

About what you said about Rukia:

She was always that strong, but so far we've only really seen her in a gigai so her powers were restricted - also that particular gigai was actually draining her powers and turning her to the level of a regular human so that Aizen wouldn't be able to detect her and find that weird gem thing he wanted from her.

The anime has thus far done a good job of making Rukia seem useless, to the point that's what I thought she was. Having only recently gotten past the Soul Society arc in the manga, I now know that is not the case. Now I want to see what she can manage with bankai.

Kinda disappointing seeing Inoue and Chad getting beat up that easily. I take it Inoe's attack, not especially strong to begin with, is now non existent?

It's not that Orihime's attack is weak she just doesn't have the killer instinct like everyone else, so it's not being used to it's fullest.

The anime really butchers the manga, sad to say.

I agree. If she puts her mind to it, or maybe in the future when she is in a tight spot, she will have a pretty devastating attack. I mean, she uses those fairy things indiviually. What if there is an attack that uses them all together? I mean, even that healing attack, which is some sort of time manipulation, can cause damage, if you manipulated time in the right way...

I'm pretty sure she had killer intent in chapter 192 after Chad was hurt, yet all it gained her was a pulverized Tsubaki. I'm not quite caught up, but since he was completely destroyed this time I can't see her being able to attack again.

Ah well, there's still hope for Chad.

Ah well, there's still hope for Chad.He was healed by one of the vaizards. And she still didn't have the killer intent. Wanting to hurt someone is not the same as one to out right kill them.

Now that I've caught up I will now remove my foot from my mouth. It is pretty clear that Inoue's abilities now are a case of 'Author making it up as he goes'. There's no way in hell you could predict this turn of events from how her powers were described in the begining.

And I was right, there is hope for Chad. Exalted excrement, he got good.

Yeah I've been waiting for a little more development with Chad, and hoping he gets maybe a matching left arm.
