Ep. 197

Episode 197 entitled: The Konoha 11 All Assemble, This episode is a bit special because it has a new beginning that only two more episodes will have, using footage from the third Naruto movie.

Could this be more proof that the fillers will indeed end soon?

We have the titles for 200 and 201 and it looks like this arc continues to at least 201. So 197-201 might be the last big filler arc.

Sadly I agree. Atleast we got to see Inner Sakura for the first time in like 90 episodes.

Im not sure about the special opening/closing thing being a sign of the end of fillers. Could be, but all I gathered was it was an attempt to get more advertising for the Naruto movie 3.

I keep checking on ANN's episode title list, but it's hard to tell from the next few upcoming ep titles what exactly they'll be out.

That is from leafninja which you can trust. So the Konoha 11 filler arc ends after 201. The question is what 202 will be? Maybe a couple of one shot fillers to wrap things up and we start the Gaiden or Part II at 204?

This seems to be the last filler arc. You have an actual story with Konoha in danger rather than something lame like haunted houses or babysitting brats which made up most of the fillers. Every character with the exception of Kakashi is making an appearence. Everyone even got a speaking part. It just feels like the end.

Let's hope so. I've enjoyed most of the filler but I'm definitely ready for it to get back to the manga. I'm really eager to see what I've been missing (I've barely read any of the manga so far) and see the characters animated in their "3 years from now" form.

What, so no episode on 9/06? Why the heck not? We already had to wait two weeks for one ep just recently... *does Shikamaru voice* 面倒くせえな。。。 ><;;;;;;;

i sadly have to say, after getting this far into the anime, i have never once been happy to see sakura appear in an ep. so this is disapointing news :lol:

i've been ready to get out of the filler for the past 30 eps. i'm really getting sick of all the stupid crap they're putting on over and over, i wanna get back into the whole sasuke turin evil thing, maybe some eps with gara and lee! :D we havent had a decent fight arc in a while, i say bring it on! :punch:

Yeah, we haven't seen Gaara in ages, which really sucks. And it would be nice if they would at least reference Sasuke more in the filler like they used to. Now it's almost like everyone's forgotten or something.

It seems like the filler people were told not to use the sand siblings. So no Gaara.

At the end of Part I, these were the most popular characters according to Shonen Jump's own poll.

1. Sasuke (Not even referenced much in the fillers)
2. Naruto (All over the fillers)
3. Kakashi (Barely in them)
4. Iruka (Barely in them)
5. Shikamaru (Barely in them til now)
6. Itachi (Not in one)
7. Neji (Was in the fillers a lot)
8. Sakura (Not in the fillers as much)
9. Hinata (Was in the fillers a lot)
10. Gaara (Not in one)

So 7 of the 10 didn't have much of a role in the fillers. Strange. We did get plenty of Tenten though. ^_^

I heard the same thing, rumors that the filler was supposed to end at 200 with the start of Kakashi Gaiden. Hopefully the Konoha 11 arc ends with 201, this whole filler nonsense is rediculous.
