i finally got the last volume to this series (after waiting for a long long time thanks to adv), and holy damn, i almost felt like i was gonna cry when i read the last page
just as rosette is breathing her last breath, and crying out that she doesn't want to die alone, still waiting for chrono to return. he shows up in the doorway, and she runs to him, crying, and embraces him for the final image of the series
