anyone ever seen this. It's really good. It's about these otaku and they get beat down by otaku hunters but then they all get together(along with a girl) to stop the otaku hunters at there tracks. Rather interesting when I checked it out. The only thing was that when I saw the thing about the otaku hunters I got paranoid and when to search it to see if it's true and it actually is.

Good, maybe Akihabara can become a serious place to buy computer hardware once again. Otaku are too smelly and weird and these maid bars are just stupid.

What do you mean shut the place down? Did you even read the article? Akihabara hasn't always been a place for smelly weaboo, normal people should be allowed back into the neighborhood to shop without being hindered by crappy music and smelly otaku.

Ninja337 I don't think otaku's are the type of people who would come up to you and bother you. I went to Akihabara to check things out when I went to Japan, and from what I saw there aren't just otaku's that go there. I saw people of all different ages there.

There are places where you can shop that dont have "sex kitten maid bands" and truthfully I didn't see too many. Maybe I was in the wrong spot? Just leave the otaku's alone, let them be, you don't need to crack down on them, what did they ever do to you? lol

Truthfully, I did not notice anyone out of the ordinary there. I spent about 4 hours shopping around, went to arcades, and no one really caught my eye of being "otaku". But, maybe to you they have that certain "look" that I don't know about? If you think otaku look like geeks, then we get a lot of those everywhere, no need to worry :P

id asume they look like the stereotypical nerd. pastly skin from lack of sun light. some odd social querk like snorting or wiping your nose with your hand. bad fasion sense or a shirt with some kind of anime logo on it. and a room filled to the brim with action figures and posters.

of course we all know that most stereo types are not true and acctually the people in akihabara@deep would most likly be a member of the "in crowd" here in america, well most...
