Fave Opening & Closing..

I just got my FMA ost for the series today in the mail and of course listened to it. *duh* Anyways I was wondering which Opening songs/Ending songs everyone liked the best. Mine are: Opening - Rewrite/Closing - I Will. ^_^

I love all, but my favorite op is "Undo" by Cool Joke and for the ending it' s "kesenai tsumi" by Nana Kitade.

I like all the closings, they're awesome! As for the openings, pretty much all except the second one, "Ready, Steady Go". I hate it. =)
If you insist on specifics; then Opening - Melissa/Closing - ... I don't know ............ Kesenai tsumi or I will. But the rest of the closings are still cool!

"Undo" is my 2nd fave Opening. I can't stand the "Melissa" Opening (1st Opening.) I'm not gonna talk trash on it tho since it's an opening for FMA after all. ^_^ "Ready! Steady! Go!" Is my 3rd fave Opening. :D

I think FMA got a nice treatment for Opening and ending theme songs.
Other animes that are being treated well would be Inuyasha and Rurouni Kenshin. They have famous Jpop artists singing it.

I LOVE the Melissa opening. Actually, I think it may now be my favorite song from an anime ever (I didn't think any song would ever top Eden from Yami no Matsuei). I can listen to it over and over and never get sick of it. I actually wanna buy a CD from Porno Graffiti and see if they have any other songs I like.
I also like Undo a lot and Rewrite a lot too. I never really got into Ready Steady Go.

My favorite closing is Motherland.

My favorite opening is the one they use in the last few episodes, the one where Ed jumps off the ledge. That looks so cool, and is so well-animated, it gives me goosebumps.

As for my favorite closing, I don't know what it's called, but the one with they were using halfway through, where the woman starts off singing dramatically a capella, and then the music jumps in. I've always loved that effect.

Opening 1 and ending 1 are my favorites. I like the music and visuals best for those, probably.

Opening 1 feels nostalgic to me, and really expresses that feeling that draws me to Hagaren. The music is great, and the visuals alone make it one of my favorite anime openings.

Ending 1 has good music (the overdramatic-type of singing isn't exactly my style, but the song's great never the less), but the visuals draw me into it the most. It has a real indescribable sense of drama, and sadness. It seems to really reflect Ed and Al's journey, as well as why they are on that journey. I especially like the small variation of the ending after the episode where Nina dies. At the end where it shows Ed lift up his head and look out at you, where he normally gives a small, sad smile, he for this one time makes a big grin, but in such a way that you can tell he's filled with pain and sadness. It kind of cuts me to the heart I guess.

The opening used in the last few episodes: "Rewrite"
The closing used that you are talking about I believe is the last closing. "I Will"

The opening Rewrite is still my fave. Before I saw the later episodes Undo was my fave then once I heard Rewrite I was like "Yup now that's my fave!" ^_^

I have to admit, the only OP I really love was the first. I LOVE the first OP, but rest I find okay. As for ED, none blew me away but I guess I'd have to go with the first.

This is one of those anime where I wish they'd just stick with the same OP & ED they started with.

Sowelu's I Will is amazing.

Crystal Kay's Motherland is my favorite OST for the entire series. It was visually and acoustically pleasing. It visually concentrated on Winry, so it was a break from the sad mush that happens in FMA.

Rewrite is my favorite. I love it like hell. As far as endings, I don't love any of them. The only one I even remember (and i've seen all the episodes) is the one with Winry and its like a r&b-ish song thats really slow.
