no.. oro was in the process of summoning the 4th hokage, but sandaime stopped him before the summoning was complete.

as i said, you can't summon a dead guy if he is alive.

Right, and Oro was a member of Akatsuki, so he would know if the leader was the fourth. It would make no sense to try and fool the third if he was intending to kill him, so that's a plothole if the fourth were the leader. Thus, he's not. No one ever said it can't be a brother or something. Or his rival. Everyone needs one to get stronger after all, even a super genius.

I like the ramen stand owner theory though. That had my rolling.

not quite correct. you can summon living ppl to you, as noted during the sand invasion they summoned legions of ppl. and taken from the book of yondaime, his special kunai...

a more correct term would be, you can't use an evil dead summoning jutsu to summon someone who is alive.

so what were you correcting me on? i said he was using a technique to summon dead people, and if yondaime wasn't dead obviously he couldn't be summoned using the technique. another thing, why would he serve oro after being summoned (while alive) if he was the leader of akatsuki? common sense people.

but the 3rd uses Jutsu Shou (Technique Cancel) to stop oro from performing the last summon, that being the 4th.

no the leader of akatsuki is a guy called pain who was one of jirya's first students.[jirya was killed by him not long after realizing that]

oh and it couldnt be yondaime anyway because naruto is his son and that would mean killing his son as naruto being a jinchuriki makes him an akatsuki target
