I started this last night, just finished the sketch, which can be seen here:

And today, i've decided to ink it and, actually learn how to clean it up for other people to color .
Now, some of you guys may recognize this character from the hit manga, Naruto! I drew Sasuke from the Time Skip, so spoilers for you anime fans.
This is 100% fanart, and none of it is copied.
CC please? Someone wants to color too?

Oh, glad I came back to this threaqd, I like it colored.
Only CC I should give is that his pecks need to be more eveningly sized/shaped, and the right arm moved up a bit, using some forshorting. Same with the hand, ie, the pinky should be facing us a bit more then the other fingers. (I know I certainly have trouble with that position. I suggest looking in a mirror in that arm position.)
That's all, the face/belt is great.

I agree with Magami - the first thing that came to mind was that the position of the hand was a little off (for lack of a better word). It's a difficult position to draw; the best advice I can give is to look in a mirror at that arm position.
Otherwise, that picture looks great! :)

Yeah, the right palm's position is a bit unnatural- it's like he's trying to twist his wrist .. try to think in 3D, visualise the hand on the paper and change the image in your mind until you think it's right
Looking at the scetch of the picture, i would assume you haven't even darwn the basic shapes of the character .. you should try that too, it helps a lot to determine the right proportions (which i'm taimted to say are a bit off - the legs seem too short)
and you can also create more dinamic poses with it
I don't think the nose is corespondent to Naruto drawing style, but rather DBZ.. you could erase the triangle at the base of the nose, replace it with a single curved line and add nosetroles
Phew ^_^ i guess that's enough on the constructive criticism part, so let me congratulate you on the ink work, it's great! you handle outlines like a pro, with thickness variation and everything, awesome job^_^ what kind of pen do you use? (seriously :straight face: )
Well, keep up the good work, i definitely wanna see more ink work from you:D

I find that tends to only matter if the artist's intent was to actually copy the charcater(be it actually copying the picture or the manga-ka's style), not if one's own style is coming into play. I don't know in this case.
Good advice anyhow.

Hmm... I'm glad i'm getting these CC's. I'll definitely watch out for this stuff later. No, I didn't intend to copy the real Manga-ka's style, because to me, that's basicly plaigerism.
Well, all I use is a 0.01 Sakura Micron Pigment liner. That's all.
