This is my first time cosplaying, and I'm extremely excited about it!!
We were talking about it and i didn't really know who to be, so I was thinking, and I just saw this anime named Witch Hunter Robin!
I really want to cosplay as her at the next convention, but I have no idea where to start. Especially with the costume!! I have a sewing machiene, so that wouldn't be the problem, but the fabrics, the cost, and the pattern I am COMPLETELY lost in! -_-;
I seriously need your help! I don't really need the jacket ((because i'm not made of money right now.. lol)) but I would really like to have a pattern for her dress. I found a good picture of Robin Sena cosplay online. I would like it to be like this:

Please give me tips for hte costume and everything. thank you sooo much! i really appreciate it! <3

good luck with the hair style ;)

red gem Necklace = pewter. I've bought similar stuff that you could find from www.cyfrin.co.uk (wouldn't buy from there though, kind of expensive) look at the stone of creation, it's a similar color.

that's about all the advice I know. -_-; Don't forget the spectacles if you can do them.

Well you could try a craft store near you or malmart for patterns. If you look at the costumes you could mix and max them to make the dress. I would look at the medieval and maybe at some nun habits. As for fabrics I would it looks like some kind of felt for the thing that goes over the dress. For the main dress you may want to try cotton with something under it to help keep the same or maybe a thicker fabric for the dress. Some one at the craft store you be able to help you decide better on what fabric to use.

^^;; Hi. I'm that Witch Hunter Robin cosplayer.

My necklace was purchased from Mike of Fantasyprops.com. At the time, I wasn't making props. It's made of resin and win.

My wig has a wire headband in the pigtails to keep them straight. I really wish this photo hadn't gotten so popular though. The handle bars are WAY too long and I didn't realize it at the time. Nor did I think this photo was going to get that popular.

I never made the jacked because my costume was three layers on top and 6 or 7 at the bottom and it was hot enough.
