I just graduated and I'm getting ready to head to an art school in Savanah and I need to practice coloring my work and such, something I have never done, and just wanted feedback from other artists on which computer programs are best for coloring 2D and/or 3D animation and works. doesn't have to be cheap nescesarily(spelling?) but I'd like something where I get my money's worth, any suggestions?
If anyones interested in seeing some of my work just ask, another thing I need is criticism lol, but yeah I'll gladly post some stuff if anyone wants to see some.

Go ahead and post your work ^_^.
I use Photoshop when doing digital work personally, but I'm still new to the whole 'digital art world'. I'm more of a traditional art kind of girl.
There are many programs out there, some are even free (Gimp...but I've never used it, so I can't vouch for it). Photoshop is not cheap, and I definitely don't use all of the features it offers, but I'm glad I splurged on the program. It suits me I suppose, and there are tons of tutorials out there that can teach you different techniques and whatnot to use for different things. I'm thinking about using it when I go to make my 'manga'...hahaha...

Software is expensive. Most people use Photoshop or Painter. You could also try Illustrator, Flash or Freehand if you like a more graphic look, or if you like vectors.
