I forgot to mention Oliver and Company. I used to be obssessed with that movie. I loved the Poodle, Georgette. She made me want to get a poodle of my own someday.

Lady and the Tramp was also good. I used to watch that one over and over.

I liked so many of them...there are probably more I can't even remember.

No Nick..he's only 10 months old. He just likes watching cartoons. He also likes watching BET, becuase his mother likes that channel.

I have already started him on Anime, though. by God, he WILL be an anime junkie by the time I get through with him!

Fantasia first and for most, then anything else animate while Walt was still alive. After that, only the few animated films they made in the 70s (Rescuers and so forth).

I was a total Disney fangirl when I was young. Fairy tales always facinated me and I used to love so many fantasy type stories in general. My parents would collect just about every single Disney animated movie that came out on tape.

Here are some of my animated favorites...
The Little Mermaid
Beauty and the Beast
Aladdin
The Lion King
Dumbo
Bambi
Fantasia
Cinderella
Snow White
Sleeping Beauty
Alice in Wonderland
Lady and the Tramp
The Hunchback of Notre Dame
101 Dalmations
The Aristocats
Winnie the Pooh
The Fox and the Hound
Robin Hood
Peter Pan
Pocahontas
Mulan

Here are some of my live-action favorites...
Princess Diaries
Mary Poppins

This is what I have so far, I'll have to dig deep into my VHS tapes to find more of them. -_-;

If you notice, most of my favorites came out in in the 90's and before. That's because I grew up watching these and more when I was growing up. I never really cared for the sequals as much, though some were good. I also remember watching so many of Disney's animated shows after school on TV they gave on weekday afternoons like Duck Tales, Darkwing Duck, Tale Spin, Gargoyles, and Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers. Good times!! ^_^

How could I forget about Pocohantas! >_< I'm so ashamed. I loved that movie!
Alladin...Good good movie. The one after it was really lame. (But that might just be me.) :P

I also really like how after so many years they revive some of the Disney classics for the new generations.

Too bad they shut down their anmation studio not too long ago.
My faves are: Fantasia/2000, Atlantis, the Gargoyles direct to video film, and Who framed Roger Rabbit. (Disney/MGM/Amblin)

Roger Rabbit!!!! w00t! I remember watching that as a kid. I actually saw it recently on TV I believe. I laughed even harder now that I'm older and seeing it.

It was released on DVD not too long ago, with both the less explicit family version, and the more "adult" version which was cut from theatrical release.

Well here it is from the 6th season fo the SIMPSONS.

Lisa looks into the sky looking for the spirit of beelding gums murphy. He pops out and starts to play.

Out of no where darth vader pops out and says Luke I am your Father.

Then pops out Simbas Father.

"Kimba you will always be watched over."

"I mean Simba!"

Bleeding Gums"YOU TWO! GET OUT OF HERE!"

Thus even the simpsons creators realize that it was a stolen idea. Sadly nothing was done about it, but LK is still the best drawn cartoon ever to me.

And now my grandson can enjoy them as well. :)
My word, how old are you?...

My top five:

The Lion King
The Hunchback Of Notre Dame
Pocahontas
The Little Mermaid
Beauty And The Beast[/I]

I personally prefer the Renaissance Disney due to Alan Menken's music (plus Hans Zimmer for [B]The Lion King, and Howard Ashman's genious lyrics!!!---"Then I stuff you with bread, it don't hurt 'cuz you're DEAD!"--"Les Poisson")..

One word for you all ::

Aladdin

And then we can add Mulan and Lion King -- though it depresses me...

As for live action --

Princess Diaries One

Such a fun movie to watch! And of course, The Jungle Book!

Balto was a Universal Pictures film. Rover Dangerfield was a Hyperion Pictures release, distributed by Warner Bros. Other films normally attributed to Disney would be Anastasia (Fox), The Iron Giant (Warner Bros.) and The Secret of NIMH (MGM/UA)

I love all the classic Disney feature animation. I watch whichever one matches my mood.

The Lion King is my personal favorite with Mulan and Aladdin as distant seconds.

But as good as The Lion King movie is, the broadway musical is even better. If anyone ever has the chance to go see it, DO IT. Bring you whole family and your friends and go see it. You won't regret it.

Aladdin was great too. It's a stretch, but I must include the Gargoyles Movie, even though it was only the first five episodes edited into movie length.

Basically, most of the animated films.

Um, Old Yeller, Pollyanna, The Parent Trap (Hayley Mills, but I guess Lindsay did okay), That Darn Cat (Hayley Mills), Homeward Bound, Babes in Toyland, Heavyweights, Swiss Family Robinson Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, Mary Poppins, Escape to Witch Mountain, Benji, Hocus Pocus, The Santa Clause (Don't hate on Tim), Pete's Dragons (anyone remember Pete's Dragon?)... I know I'm leaving something out...

Oh, so no one is confused The Lion King = HAMLET. Story-wise it is in NO-WAY related to Kimba, The Goody Two Shoes Lion.

Pete's dragon, wasn't he this green dragon? lol that was a cool movie.Yeah, he was animated. The Disney Channel has really gone to Hell over the last 5 or so years. Like, they used to show all of their Classic Live-Action movies in the wee hours of the morning, but now, it's all Hanna Montana or whatever... They're Discriminating Against Insomniacs over the Age of 8!!

-Cinderella
-Pocahantas
-The Lion King (one of my top five)
-Bambi
-We're Back (that's Disney, right?)
-Aladdin (One of my top five)
-Aladdin and the Prince of Thieves
-Tarzan
-A Goofy Movie (one of my top five)
-Oliver and Company (one of my top five)
-All Dogs Go To Heaven
-Finding Nemo
-Toy Story
-Monsters Inc.
-The Incredibles (i still can't believe that was a Disney flick)

and there's a last one I can't remember the name of... it had a very different art style for a Disney movie, kind of recent... maybe 2000 or 2001? I don't know if it came out in theatres, but I know that it had to do with a kingdom and a servant who had his mouth stitched shut. That's all I can recall.... besides the awesome animation style. Help?

-The Incredibles (i still can't believe that was a Disney flick)Maybe because it was originally supposed to be a Warner Bros. Animated Thing, and John Lasseter isn't connected to it... besides it being released by Pixar. Well, at least, I don't think he's connected to it... And Yes, I realize that John Lasseter doesn't write/direct/produce every Pixar movie.

Sleeping Beauty. Out of my family's collection, it's the only Disney movie I keep in my room.
