When answering a fan question this afternoon at Otakon, Japanese rock legend Yoshiki announced he will start a band with J-Pop star Gackt. ANN's exclusive interview with Yoshiki will be available after the convention


Anyone else here about this? I'm pretty excited to see how this turns out.

Yeah, I read that too, but... oh, I want some confirmation murmurs from Gackt before I really believe it.

I mean, Yoshiki's great, but Gackt is truly a class above. imho.

Has anyone else here heard the live version of Gackt singing "Leeca" with Yoshiki on piano? I don't know whether it's from a CD or DVD or just a random bootleg, but it's very pretty.... I think it must be a few years old.... I guess if these two have made beautiful music together before there's great hope for it happening again!
