Whenever I try to PM someone, it asks me if I want to make a readable reciet, I always click "cancel" but why does it do that? And does it mean that i'm not sending the PM?

No. What it does is it allows you to see if the person you sent it to has received it. If you click no when you get a PM from someone else, that means that you don't want to inform them that you've read it.

This feature is a pain in the butt, isn't it? I'd far rather it was disabled.

Yes, the feature is a pain. At the very least it should be an option that you can turn off or on.

Yeah, it never bothered me, but I never used it, and I never check if anyone read my PMs.

Thing doesn't even work for me. I send people who are offline PMs, and it says the PM has been read immediately. That's helpful! :)
No it isn't. Do better.

I don't like it, but it's just a simple click. No big problem.

Its useful for staff, as we can better see who's read warnings.

So next time I get a warning I can just hit the "cancel" button when it asks if I read it or not? ;)

Nope, it still counts. It just lets me know for sure.

Such a thing is good, like for example if you send someone something important, you can see if the person has read it or not.
