Suggestions for additions are welcome, Post your suggestions or PM me or another S-Mod for assistance. Think of this FAQ as a guideline for posting in RPGS and OOC's. Even though this is basically a guideline, there are some rules that must be followed such as no chatting in a RPG, and hentai/sexual role playing.
No-No's:
-Chatting
Chatting offtopic in a RPG is not encouraged, as the RPG is a Role Playing Game and for characters to play out a scene or a story that is usually fictional but uses characters either created or borrowed from the anime it is based off of.
If you need to make appointiments with other RPGers or members, please keep it discreet in the form of a PM or use a Instant Messenger service. This will keep the RPGs looking spiffy.
-Obscene Role Playing
No Hentai, Yaoi, Yuri, Cyber Sex RPGs, or playing out sexually explicit scenes.
-Randomly jumping/posting in a RPG
It is an act of courtesy to join a RPG properly by posting in the OOC (Out Of Character) thread and requesting to join the RPG. PMing the topic creator is another option, but posting in the OOC is preferable, so that everyone involved with the RPG can see that you have offically joined and will welcome your character into their RPG.
If topic creator has stated in their first post that anyone can join, feel free to join the RPG.
-Tastefulness
Please refrain from starting RPGS with distasteful topics such as the Holocaust. While you may feel fine about the Holocaust, there are others who may feel offended by a RPG revisiting such an event.
-Points of advice-
It is encouraged to use "" when role playing, or identifying your character when you post in a RPG, this will help diffirenate role play posts from "chatty" posts.
Use proper puncuation and grammar. You do want people to read your role play with ease, and be of the utmost clarity.

Yep! All I need is the Red Title and I'm set.
Anyway, I already began to delete the old RPG threads in hopes to clean out the "spam" in the RPG topic some. Although I do post here a lot, just know that like past mods have said, "Popularity does not give you an exemption from banning." In this case, deletion.
I wont be a hardass though, I don't abuse power. You'll get warnings first.
EDIT:
All the rules that Char posted are pretty much what I stand by, although when it comes to chatting. Posting things in a (()) are fine, as long as that isn't the whole post. Make sure you have a decent post with your character after it. If you cant do this, get a OOC thread for the RPG, and post it there. Although, you still will have to have something RPG related.

New Rule: I find in a lot of the RPG's, people post a lot of OOC in the middle of RPG. I'm going to have to ask if you do this, a few posts don't bother me, but please keep it from stuff like "lol okay". If you do, I'll have to delete them.

New Rule:
A problem in the RPG section seems to be people not getting that hentai is not allowed. I'm pretty lenient, but I'd feel a lot better if its either innuendo, or if its obvious you're doing something, without having to describe it. There are people who seem to be trying to border on what is allowed, and if it continues, I'll close the thread.
Closing wont be a first resort, but if I have to keep warning said thread, then I'll have no choice. There are a lot of underage browsers on here, so its not right for them.
If you want to have a mature RPG, fine, but PLEASE put "Mature" in the thread title, that way, I know that "adult situations" might arise, and I can properly watch the thread to make sure its okay. Don't try and be sneaky, and not name it anything to think I wont check it. I read every RPG when it's updated.

New Rule:
In my time here, I've been noticing that a lot of the OOC threads do get chatty, but still under terms related to the RPG. Since a lot of people, even me find it hard to keep it strictly RPG, without joking around some about the characters, plot, art, ect, I've decided to become a bit more lenient in what's allowed in the RPG OOC threads.
Long story short, anything is allowed as long as it abides by usual RPG rules, (No cursing, sex, spam, ect.) As long as it has something to do with the RPG. To people who aren't a part of them, reading the OOC can seem like spam, when it has everything to do with a certain point in the RPG. But if there's someone commenting on how dense a character is, I don't mind, since when a humorous situation appears in a RPG, I usually post on how the character is reacting, and what I think of it. Usually I get this point across with a joke. So if I do it, then I can't get mad at the rest. And its hard to not do it, so I feel your pain.
P.S. If it DOES get too spammy, I will delete posts. I don't accept posts that are just "lol I like that too!"
P.S.2: Also, Please refrain form arguments in the OOC, I see a lot of that, and remember, its an RPG, there no need to get upset over "illogical things."

New Rule:
When you start a new RPG thread, please make a decent backstory and plot. People want to join RPG's that they know will be worth their while. When there isn't any rules, plot, even character bios right off the bat, its not even worth their time. Remember, in-depth character creation and plot makes a RPG fun!

I just went ahead and deleted the thread, and I'm going to post it here. Now that I think about it, it didn't need its own thread. Apologies.
~~~
TO let you know, this is for the first posts of NEWLY made RPG's. Not currently running RPGs. ( One within a day of being created. )
I've been a moderator of the RP section for a few months now. In my time reading the RPGs, I've found that there is a major problem with people making any sort of attempt to make an articulated and well-planned RPG.
To put it bluntly, I'm going to be a tad stricter with what is allowed to become a RPG in this section. Its hard to mod when I can't even understand what you're writing or the backstory of the RPG is. Thus, for all of you that are considering creating a new RPG, please read through the post to at least make sure it reads well and is understandable. Usually when I make a thread, I never catch things until later, so I’ll probably give you time. I won’t delete as soon as you make it. In fact, deletion will most likely be a last resort.
1. Multiple spelling errors in the opening post. A few spelling errors are fine, but if its obviously just thrown together. I'm going to at least ask you to edit. If you don't have word or anything, I can do it for you. I can only read so much of Net Speak.
(As an alert, I’ve had my fair share of horrible posts. Don't fret if you make a few. As long as it’s readable I should say, I’m fine. )
2. If you're playing as canon characters, please do your best to keep them in-character. If you're using them as supporting characters or as cameos, then playing them a little OOC is fine. However, at least do credit to the original creators and keep their characters in-character.
Keep in mind; I'll wait a while to see how the RPG itself goes. I know a lot of people on here have made a big effort to change how the RPG reads, so I appreciate. Deleting is usually the last step I take in moderation. Any problems with the rules, or if you have suggestions for new ones; just PM me or email me at VidelCoolGirl@gmail.com
New Rule: (As Quoted From Mikadzuki)
(Thank you. :P ) I just thought of another suggestion. It occured to me that there are some RPG terms that not everyone is familiar with, especially people who are just venturing into the world of roleplaying. I know that I, for one, did not know what "godmoding" meant until someone explained it to me.
So, for those who do not know what "godmoding" means, I happened to find two good definitions of the two kinds of godmoding. (I didn't even know there were two kinds! :O )
Passive Godmoding
Godmoding can occur when a character describes an event or a series of events he or she has taken against another character or interactive object, most often with the purpose of rescinding negative effects previously encountered or granting some other effect inconsistent with an innocent view of the narrative. Godmoding is thus often used like a "Get Out of Jail Free card" when things don't go the way a player wants, rather than working with previously unfolded events. It is also used to describe the act of creating or playing with an invincible character or unbreakable armor, limitless power, etc.
Active Godmoding
In simple terms, the rules regarding godmoding can be described like this: An RPG is not a novel. You do not have control of every single character. You only have control of your own characters. Pretend that the others players' characters are copyrighted material, and that if you mess with them without permission, you'll get sued.
