Well one of my friends/fellow AN member is having trouble login on to AN.
The problem is this, he changed his AOL email address a while back and decided to go to edit email options and had to wait for a email confirmation...but never got it. Anyone know the reason to this?
P.S. he can still log on but can't post new threads, post replies, post attachments or edit his post.
your help is greatly appreciated.

Kevin and\or Josh will be best able to help you and your friend out.
I suggest sending them(either or both) a PM, or listing your friend's account name here, so they can help in the morning when they log on.
Being able to log on but unable to post\etc makes me wonder if this person was banned?

Nobody can post attachments, other than the staff.

I had to reconfirm my e-mail once, the system said that an e-mail with a link would be sent. I never got the e-mail and I could log on but not post too. As far as I know whenever someone is banned from a vBulletin forum you cannot log-on at all, you'll get a message saying you're banned. I solved my problem by sending an e-mail to: webmaster @ animenation.com.

Nah. That's just what VB does when an email verification either hasn't been made, or a e-mail address is changed and the verification gets bounced back.

As far as I know whenever someone is banned from a vBulletin forum you cannot log-on at all, you'll get a message saying you're banned. Well, it is configurable to a certain degree. It's possible to do all sorts of things, including giving banned members read-only access to the forums. The Admin tools on a vBulletin forum are pretty powerful, and let you do pretty much whatever you want. Even if what you want to do isn't built in to the forum codebase, there's usually a hack of some kind available.

He say's doesn't know a reason why he would be banned and my friends AN name is "ryushe". He keeps sending in his new email and he isn't gettting the verification.

Ryushe? I kinda remember him. I didn't exactly know him well, but he's not banned. You can see if you look at the last post he made, here (http://animenation.net/forums/showthread.php?t=194243). If he were banned, you wouldn't be able to PM him, for example.

Well, When I try to PM him it says,
ryushe has chosen not to receive private messages or may not be allowed to receive private messages. Therefore you may not send your message to him/her.
He just doesn't know what the problem is.
