Yaoi Recommendations

Hey, I'm new to Yaoi and Yuri and I was wondering if anyone could give me any recommendations. Manga and anime please.

It really depends on what kinds of stories you like.

For comedy, you may liked either Gravitation or Sukisho (though many weren't very crazy about this one. It's really based on your taste in anime).

If you want a deeper storyline, I would recommend Loveless. Yami no Matsuei (aka Decendants of Darkness) is another good one, although many of the relationships are only implied.

As for manga, there are plenty I liked. To name a few, FAKE (being my all-time favorite), Our Kingdom, Wild Rock, Man's Best Friend, Lost Boys, Level C, Desire, etc etc.
Lots of newbies to yaoi have liked the manga Only the Ring Finger Knows. It has some novels too which are pretty good.

Aye, like DK said, depends on what you like. ^_^

There've been plenty of good yaoi manga released recently - are you looking for fluffy/non-explicit art, or graphic/hardcore or something in between?? ;)

Story wise - there's long, drawn out stories (Gravitation, Fake, Kizuna) or one shots like Alone in my Kings Harem or Skyscrapers of OZ. Gravitation of course also has the very explicit 'Remix' series *coughdroolblush* Those are unreleased by scanlations are around (see the Gravi post elsewhere in Yaoi/Yuri)

Anime - you'll probably have to download the more explicit stuff (Enzai, Sensitive Pornograph) as it's not licenced/officially released. The FAKE anime movie is okay, but is kinda a spin off from the manga series. Gravitation and Loveless are cool and there's certainly some implied yaoi between the twins in Ouran high School Host Club :naughty:

And there's plenty more regular manga and anime series with implied yaoi ^_^
