Frankly, I'm just bored and hot, and I just needed a topic to talk about music in some way.
So, how do you guys get your music?
Do you download it, import it, or get the domestic copies? Or another way?
I mainly import, sometimes buy domestic. I don't download...I guess you'd say I'm morally against it, but whatever....
Anyways, how bout you all?

I get imports, and sometimes off the japanese amazon website. I never download, unless I was introduced to a new band. I only download 1 or 2 songs by them, and buy an album.

since i don't have a job i download mostly. but i will buy when i have money. because nothing compares to having the real thing in your hands. unfortunatly i only accept first pressings and no re-issues. which makes finding alot of albums i have on my comp really hard. one i have on the comp an original pressing can go for a couple hundred dollars. and thats not taking into account the number of pricy demos out there.
and it doesn't help having eclectic music tastes. not taking into account japanese stuff i have over 500 CDs to buy. way over. i haven't even begun to count the japanese ones i want and will get. but i estimate around the same

When I first got into foreign music (anime & game), I would import it. After a while though, that got expensive. I just couldn't afford to import everything I liked. Thus I started downloading it. If I was worried about the morality of it, I wouldn't of course, but then I wouldn't be able to listen to all of the music that I enjoy. Even though I can't afford to support it all financially myself, I can support it in other ways, such as being able to recommend it to someone else who CAN buy it.

Imports and sometimes, I pickem up at cons.
I download them to get a feeling for the music, and if I like them enough, I support them by buying their CDs.
