Given what you have already seen, I would have to say go with Samurai Champloo or GunGrave first. Since they have already been released in full, you can blast right through them without the wait. GitS season 1 is done, and 2nd GIG will be done soon, so you can follow up with those (I have not seen Blue Gender, and Trinity Blood and Guyver TV haven't been released here yet [assuming you're in the US]).

I thought the OVAs were good, but nothing near incredible or anything.

I haven't seen the series yet, but I really want to and have high expectations for it. I just need to find all of it fansubbed. I wonder when ADV will release the first disc in the US...

NONE! Watch Berserk. Its a tad bit old, but its soooooo damn good. Very...philosophical, in a Kill Bill-ish violence sort of way. Actually, I take that back. Berserk makes Kill Bill look like the Saturday Morning Cartoon Lineup. But soooooooooooooooo cool.

Or even GunSword. Its one of the newer ones I've enjoyed. Plus, it has the most bad@$$ sword in anime history. Maybe even ALL history!

If you liked Bleach, Naruto, and DBZ...you should definitely check out Hunter x Hunter, it's like the forgotten shounen powerhouse.

S-cry-ed, sorry if I got that wrong lol, was pretty good, Its not great but I enjoyed it, to my knowledge it airs every weeknight on Adult Swim (cartoon network)

Trinity Blood is very good, I've just finished that one myself so you should watch it.

Samurai Champloo is very good I thought as well, very funny and lotd of action.

Samurai 7 was pretty good, not great but good :)

Thats all I got for now lol, though I heard Berserk was very good as is Gunsword (both of witch I hope to see soon)

Hmm on your list, if your buying something, Champloo would be what i would get from your list. If youre not buying it there so many more choices... what about Get Backers, Cowboy Bebop, FLCL(you have to if your an anime fan, same for bebop), Hellsing, Hellsing Ultimate(1 episode out so far, but its a damn good episode), Basilisk, Black Cat, Ninja Scroll Tv+ Movie, Outlaw Star, Rurouni Kenshin & Samurai X - Trust and Betrayal, Peace Maker Kuragone, Saiyuki, Saiyuki Reload, Saiyuki Reload Gunlock, Samurai Deeper Kyo, Samurai 7, Tactics Texhnolyze, Tokyo Underground, Wolfsr Rain, Blood+, Ergo Proxy, Karas, Black Lagoon. Base don what youve watched, i can pretty much gaurantee youll enjoy all of these as i have.

Can't figure out for the life of me why I like S-cry-ed so much. Well, it is a bit of a rare treat. It's a shonen fighting show that doesn't dwell too much in filler, does its job, and actually ends before getting cancelled. All in like 26 episodes. Gotta love the theme too. It's so opposite that which we see nowadays, and the final episodes many claim to be a copout actually serve to strongly emphasize it.

I still think the dub sucks though. And I'm very easy to please when it comes to dubs. Even love Narutos, and prefer a dozen or so English dubs to Japanese ones. But I've had to hear S-cry-eds in the background for dozens and dozens of episodes to even get adjusted, and it still doesn't thrill me.

Yeah like I said I do like it and like many anime I've seen its only 20-some episodes long, Its not the best but its certainly good. but Like I said Trinity Blood and Basilisk are both newer anime and both very good. If you like vampires and want something other then Hellsing than Trinity Blood is great, and if you want a nice action packed samurai show with a hint of tragic romance than try Basilisk.

watch gantz, than read the manga and reliase how much time you wasted with anime. then get addicted to the manga and right when you get to the most recent chapter you find out that the manga is on break for a couple of months and start crying.

Hunter X Hunter. That's all you need.Don't get put off by the beginning this is truely a hidden gem.One of the best out there. But it dosen't help that the manga ka won't hurry up and finish the damn manga so we can get new anime episodes :mad:

If you want to watch a Hellsing anime, don't watch the 13 ep show. It will wind up getting overshadowed by the new OVA series that is out. I think it has the first two episodes out for it (maybe only the first). But that will be quick, so I recommend going towards One Piece and Hunter X Hunter. They are both VERY good shows. As good if not better than Naruto and Bleach. Think of it like this. The major Shonen Jump shows are One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, the DragonBall series, and Hunter X Hunter. There are others, but simply they aren't as famous and aren't as good. Also, One Piece is more famous than all of the other shows in Japan. Just food for thought.
Also, Berserk is amazing too.
