I wish, the only one I can go to is Otakon and that's because I live there.

For the last five year's I've told myself. This year let's go to Anime Fest! This year let's go to Animefest! Come on you lazy bumm! It's only an hour's drive away!!. Yet every year when Sept. roll's around I start getting that 'meeeehhhh maybe next year.' feeling and just never get around to going.



They've got Monkey Punch back as a guest. so.. maybe.,.maybe

I live in Dallas so I'll probably be attending as long as I am doing nothing else. I'm debating whether I should register now or just pay later at the door. Do you get badges which are more amazing by joining beforehand like at A-Kon? (I've never been to Animefest even though I've gone to A-Kon for years!)

I'm contemplating going. I missed Otakon because I was forced to move to Texas due to a job relocation back in March. I doubt it'll be much compared to Otakon, but it could be fun.

Cotmweasel reminded me that I still hadnt registered for it lol. I go every year, and will be this year as well. I would highly recommend pre-registering unless you like waiting in line for maybe 30-40 minutes when you first get to the convention. If you pre-reg you still have to wait in a line, but it's usually shorter and takes alot less time than the people paying at the door. AnimeFEST isnt as bad as A-kon as far as lines go, but it should still be a substantial difference.

It wont be hard to find me at the convention. I'll be the skinny nerd with spectacles (you cant type the g word cause the forum censors it LOL) holding anime merchandise.

I'm going too. In fact, I believe my friends and I are going to run the LAN Gaming room this year. If you're going, feel free to stop by. I should be there on and off during the days with the exception of late Saturday/early Sunday (I actually have to leave the con so I can go to work Sunday morning, but I'll be back later in the day).

I should have a badge and I will be sure to have my forum name on there. Hope to see you there.
