Hey,

I've been trying to find new anime stores in the Orange County area. The only one I know of is AnimeNuts in Anaheim, and the import stores in the Westminster Mall and Little Tokyo. If you know of any other anime stores in the southern California area, please let me know. Or if you know of any other places that sell anime besides: Blockbuster, Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Fry's, Suncoast, Sam Goody, Tower Records, and EB Games. Any information is appreciated. Thanks and have a nice day.

there's a Rising Sun (Creations?) laying around somewhere but i don't know exactly where (was just along for the ride elsewhere when i spotted it). you could probably do a google search and find out where. they had some dvds but mainly specialize in the merchandise like soundtracks, models/figures, plushies, etc.

You need to try the old fashion way. The phone book! Let your fingers do the walking.

I don't know about Orange County, but if you'e ever in Los Angeles, there's Anime Plus in Reseda, Anime Gamers (Broccolli's official store) in LA, Power Anime in the mall right across the street from AG, and Toy Mandala in Sherman Oaks. That's all I can think of off hand though.....

There is one in Fullerton Called Animation it is on the corner of State college Blvd and Chapman (I think), It is near a Boba shop, Video game shop and and a Savon drug store. It is a Block away from Cal. State Fullerton. They have a huge collection of Anime Goods and Manga.

There is a anime rental store in Walnut. It is called J Station Anime. The address is
1235 N. Grand Ave. Walnut ,Ca. 91789. (909) 839 0906. It is a little hard to find as they have no sign. There is a Jack In The Box directly across from them. There is another j station on Atlantic blvd south of the 10 freeway. I dont hae the address for them. Plus there is a store in San Gabriel Iwill post that as soonas I find it.

Don't forget Anime Jungle in Little Tokyo. They have fairly decent prices, and nice display cases of figures and gachapon.

You know there used to be a guide with all the great Southern California anime shops on a website I think the site was called "Zelgladis hangouts". I dont know what happen to the website, but it was a very detailed guide, and was very helpful for me. I wish that site was still around.
