Papa to Kiss in the Dark (Yaoi)
2 part OVA
I believe this OVA is based on a drama CD series (but I could be mistaken)

This is a very lighthearted Yaoi OVA (the first part is a little more steamy than the second part). Generally, Kyosuke is a famous actor, raising alone his son, Mira. Mira is 15 years old and is just starting High School. The relationship becomes strange when you find out Kyosuke and Mira are also lovers.

Things get complicated when you mix in Mira's best friend, Kazu (who also has feelings for Mira), elder classman Takayuki (who also has his eye on Mira), and a huge question regarding Mira's "real" parents.

It sort of reminded me of Gravitation, with the character's sudden chibi transformation. I really liked it, even though it seemed very short.

um, it was cute, even if the story was a little ridiculous. the animation was nice too. it reminded me of gravitation. in fact, "papa" looked a whole lot like yuki eiri to me.

I dont like the anime that much, cuz they dramatically shortened it, and because of this, it lacks lotsa information about links between the characters, and of course humor and *action* too.So i prefer to the drama series.

technically it is incest, but not really. or maybe it is. i honestly don't remember if "papa" is really the kid's papa at all. if i remember right, the guy just looked after him since he was a wee-child and said he was his father...which is technically just as bad if you don't like incest i suppose. but they aren't blood related, i think.

it would be just as bad IRL, yes.
but I'll lower my standarts for anime. clear blood relation is where I draw the line; for now anyways.

meh. its fictional, and as i said the plot is so silly you can't really take it seriously at all. so if you like shounen-ai and don't mind a plotless round of fluff then you'll probably like it.

Umm...Mira isnt the guys real child, he is the child of the guys elder sister. Because she is too, a famous person, she could not allow herself to raise the chid, basically it would ruin her career, and she was too young too. So, Miras real father unknown. Kyousuke was the one who raised him, and since Mira did not know any of this, and later he was still too young to understand, he just called him papa.
Thats it.

True it lacked a lot, but it was good. My friends and I watched this together and we were guessing who could've been who from Papa to Kiss to Gravitation. It was fun! :P

It sounds....different....well, not really. I might see it at some point. I don't make a giant effort to watch yaoi...especially with incest.

i watched this on youtube, it is a lighthearted anime that is funny and whether its incest or not depends on how you look at it, anyway i rather liked it i thought it was quite funny.^_^ im not actually a huge yaoi fan either
