So the Bounto saga has been rather fillertastic for a long time. No real battles, nothing really exciting, nothing really adding to where the Soul Society arc left off.

But as of this episode, I think we're back on track.

We got to see Renji's Bankai, learned that the Bounto are heading to SS which means we'll probably get to see Byakuya and Zenpaki and our other friends again.

Plus it looks like in the next episode
Ichigo busts out with his Bankai and Ishida makes a return complete with his captain level (level to beat one that is) attire, we'll see if he has the power to match.

All in all, it looks like this is done being so damned boring.

If he does, they will just write around it, so that the manga chapters where he's supposed to get his power back never actually happen. It happens a lot. Either that or they could go the One Piece filler route, and just pretend it never happened. Seriously, that's what the One Piece anime sometimes does with fillers. If they break the manga storyline, they just get swept under the carpet.

I really want to see byakuya in action again.

err, who is Uryryu?

Finally, somethings out of the bag.. I started to feel that the series gettin extremely stupid. Really, Ichigos main sentenses r: nani?! or TEMEA!!!
or nanda to?! He has totally no brain to think. And i'm kinda disappointed about the series' mood. It dramatically changed , all the charas became groovy and boring to me.
I hope they stop this filler thingy soon. One more hatefactor, cuz shinigamis started to leak into the real word. That totally messed up the main storyline too.
Bountos get to Soul Society, get ur ***** kicked and drop dead so we can continue the real thing :P

91 looks good...but if the Bounto make it to SS that could extend the filler past 100.

Aww. I was looking foward to cannon episodes even though the filler arc is not that bad. Do you think it will go past 100?

If the bounto get to soul society, it wont be so bad, the shinigami in the real world will be able to use there true power, ill get to see kenpachi in action again, and renji will simply own all..

ok i just hate that ichigo went from badass to all he can do right is fall on his ***, it's pretty irritating, i mean so far he hasn't even gotten close to winning 1 fight since his fights w/ the captains.

He wont .... Why? because of the manga. Im sure he wont. If he will, the animeseries will be totally different from the manga, and that would mean, it will never return to the original storyline...

No. They'd just need to re-write the manga storyline where he gets his powers back. There are two possible scenarios that I can see.

A: Ishida gets part of his powers back in the filler, but still needs to regain his full strength. With a little light tweaking, the manga arc can be used almost as it was written.

B: Ishida gets his full powers back, and all the manga chapters that refer to him having no powers, or to getting his powers back are simply removed.

You are insane that is not going to happen.

I don't think they will just remove what they realeased cuz of some fillers. That's insane.
The manga is the original story, this goes to every anime. Anime is the manga's animated version. So it's stupid to remove released manga chapters.

Well, what is going to happen, then? All I'm saying is that if Ishida does get his powers back in a filler, those are the only two ways I can imagine them getting back on track. If you have a different opinion, please explain it instead of calling me insane. :P

You never saw Rurouni Kenshin, I take it? :P

I agree that it would be a stupid way to go, but the whole concept of fillers is pretty stupid to begin with, and it sometimes leads to stupid solutions. I'd rather that Ishida didn't get his powers back in a filler, but silly things happen sometimes.

...Regarding Ishida's power (Episode 91 Preview Spoiler)

The preview for 91 shows quite explicitly that Ishida has his powers back. Whether this a temporary thing or what remains to be seen, but he is definitely using his powers in 91

Which means that they are probably going to have to rewrite the manga storyline to match the events of the filler. The only other solution would be to have Ishida lose his powers again before these fillers end. Is it just me, or would that suck hard?

And I am telling you they are not going to do that you sir are insane. Now if you are talking about changing the anime so it can go back to the manga story line that is one thing but saying that they are going to change the manga and get rid of chapter just for the sake of the anime you are insane!!!!!

Omg... Kenshin has the manga and an anime.. U think the anime was released first?.. Pls make some sense with ur posts...I said that every anime is a manga's animated version, it doesn't mean it can't be different from the manga. It can, and it IS. I have a better example than Kenshin for this matter, D.N.Angel.

And no they can't rewrite something they released, it's too logical to be questionable...
Ishida losing his powers again is ok if it means they won't mess up the wholw story thing...Fillers were made for buying some time to the manga, so they can later come up with more 40 episodes, which r going to follow the real storyline, that's all. They won't-note NEVER- change a manga cuz of some fillers, pls understand this...

Oh, I finally understand why you're reacting in the way that you are. You have misunderstood me, and I apologise for not making myself clear. When I said "re-write the manga", I meant that they would be forced to re-write it when it was made into anime, and do what is normally called a "half-filler". I don't mean that they are going to re-write the manga, and publish it as manga. I mean that when it comes around to the time to adapt those chapters into anime, they will have to re-write the storyline for the anime to match what already happened in the fillers. Since normally they don't make that many changes, when adapting a manga chapter, that was what I meant by re-writing.

Apologies to all, I'm really not insane. :P

Not so badly... it would mess up the part where Ishida was supposed to get his powers back, but after a few more episodes it would get back on track, if they just skipped that section.

Like Naruto...Neverending story...
Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of. I don't think that the Naruto anime will ever get back to the manga storyline, now.

Why does it really matter? I mean either Ishida gets em back manga style or right now. I would rather have the anime adapt and make minor changes then follow the manga to a T. If they wind up having Ishida gain his powers back in this arc it won't be THAT freakin hard to alter the manga chapters a tad. Every part Ishida's in, in the manga right now is just him and his dad all the anime studio would have to do is not have these scenes OR keep the scense and just have him get stronger :O.

I think the anime studio knows what they are doing :P

the most logical route, is that in episode 91 ishida finds out that the gift he was given will only grant him powers for a limited amount of time. ending just before the end of this arc, just in time to get him into trouble and ichigo saving him. i don't forsee the arc going on for too long, there are only like 5 or 6 bounto left right? not too many fights to go if 1 goes down each episode and the final fight lasting 2 or 3.

they clearly state the artifact is unstable.. what are you guys worried about? it will probably end up breaking before/after (or maybe during?) the final fight of the filler arc. after it breaks then he can say bye bye to his powers again.
