Anyone like underground artists, or unsigned/rarely known about artists?
Lately I've been listening to ANATAKIKOU. They are really good. Umm..kind of pillows esque, but not really. The only reasson I say that is that thier song 不思議なイト reminds me of the pillows' Daydream Wonsder. They have their own feel and such, just really good. I can't wait to import 'em.
Under-rated artists count as well.
Discuss.

Do you mean Indie bands?
I've been listening to Takui lately. Nice rising star.

Well, not because they are Korean, I suppose they wouldn't be as hyped as others, but Koyote is underrated around, and in the K-Pop genre as well.
Sayaka is good, I like her, Mizuiro is such a nice song, but she isn't well known.
IMO, PLC still is. I really have to start advertizing them more, they are so good to me, and they are funny.
Kagrra. They are great, but not too hyped about. They are more classical sounding than most bands, so that my be what drives others off.

Kagrra is famous.
No doubt about that. Just the hype in the anime community is little. They're a huge success in Japan.

Nobody seems to know about:
The Gospellers - Think of them as a kind of Japanese Boyz II Men in the way they harmonize. It's nice on the ears.
Bless4 - Group of siblings mostly born and raised in America who went back to Japan. Their English is excellent, obviously, and they're nice kids.

Most all of the bands I listen to are unknowns: The Rumblers, Insect Surfers, The Mel-Tones, A3, The Marketts, The Pastel Six, Ghastly Ones, Los Straitjackets, Satan's Pilgrims, Omega Men, etc. etc...But, it's damn fine stuff.....

Man, I really don't know anything about oriental bands. I've been to Japan multiple times, but I happen to think that after seeing some street bands play, Japanese Music can get really scary sometimes. (Not to mention the cloths they wear.) :P I don't know, I guess it's the same everywhere you go... some good, some bad. Anyways, why the heck did Ami and yumi get so damn famous? Does anyone around here like their music? (I seriously don't know about underground bands or the fanbase of Jrock/pop.)
