destiny's ending blows. it just sucked. Its like, is that it?..... sigh.... i was expecting more. There isnt an ova =\ is there? btw what does ova stand for

Don't be suprised your not the only one, but I did like the ending once Phase 51 got aired, gave us a brand new ending, and a bit better at that.

I'm just playing with you. But the ending has been discussed many times and many people agrree that the ending sucks.

Phase 51? You mean Final Phase. Its the same crappy ending just with some more Athrun stuff and some Shinn closure.

The ending was actually good compared to the 10-15 episodes preceding it. And there is no episode 51, just an extended version of 50. Which probably won't be included with the U.S. release.

Did Bandai even release that Seed OVA? I don't think so, though final phase may make it out here because its a bit longer then that OVA.

The normal ending really sucks compared to Final Plus. Heck, I wouldn't even consider it an ending. It's just a closeup of of Freedom and Jesus Yamato, cut to Axis... I mean, the-bigass-space-fortress-I-can't remember-the-name-of-to-save-my-life exploding and Shinn and Luna looking rather unhappy, and finally cut to the Freedom, Justice and Hyaki-Shiki... I mean, the golden thing. Then it just ends.

Final Plus, on the other hand, is pretty good. Not awesome or anything, but it's a nice little ending IMO. At least Athrun didn't take Luna with him, too.

No, they didn't which is why I don't expect them to include Final Plus with the Destiny DVDs.

That was my first thought as well (the "uninclusion" of Final Plus on the DVDs), but I think that they may be more aware of how badly the original ending was recieved and thus perhaps release Final Plus as a replacement to the original ending. It could even be broken up into two episodes if it ever sees a TV run (and it is seeing one in Canada, right?).
