If it is, I'll be pissed off because I don't want to read the manga.

Tonight on AS is episode 156 I think, and there 167 episodes of InuYasha. So, no, this isn't the last of it.

^ Well, you might not feel that way in the end. I'll mark this is as a spoiler just in case. The anime just...ends with nothing really cleared up. To give you an idea, the anime ended on chapter 355 or 356 and the next manga chapter to come out in Japan is going to be 467. So, you will probably have to read the manga if you want to see the actual ending to the series.

Yeah, I already know, that's why I said I didn't want to read the manga.

Yes, that's what is being said. It's not like they had much choice. The animation caught up to the manga, so their options were pretty much create more filler (like Bleach and Naruto are doing right now [endlessly...]) or end it as is. At least they chose a decent place to stop the anime, which makes for an easy place to pick up the story in the manga.

It's true that it doesn't have a good, cleared up ending, but I'm trying to keep my hopes up on a second series. ANN's trivia page (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=159&page=22) mentions the producer of the anime hinting at a second series.
"After 167 episodes, Sunrise Inc. decided to end the animated show and release the conclusion to the story in manga (Japanese comic books). But, on a radio talk show, the Producer of the show announced that they only ended the first series of the show. Hinting that a second series will be coming soon."

So are you saying that there is not "conclusion" of inuyasha series?? . . .ell that sucks!!As of right now, that is correct: there is no conclusion to InuYasha. Like SonRyu said, the anime caught up to the manga, which left the animators at Sunrise with two options - produce lots of fillers (which costs money, as well as annoys fans) or find a good place to end the anime. They opted for the latter, and because of how they ended the anime, they've left room for a second series, if Sunrise so chooses to produce one.

I watched Adult Swim Tuesday night and instead of seeing another new episode they showed a repeat. At first I thought the series had ended too. Its good to know theres at least a couple more episodes, even if they don't fully end it in the anime. I definately agree with the decision to end the anime series rather than produce tons of filler. I just hope that they do come back and finish it off with another season.

That wasn't the last episodes. There are a few more left. I think the last one is "Makers of the Sacred Jewel".

In the last episode I saw, Inuyasha had crossed to the other side to get the last shard of the sacred jewel which was being held at his father's grave. He learned a new technique and he, along with the help of his brother, smacked Naraku around enough for him to retreat. (thats it in a nutshell) Is that the last episode that there gonna aire for awhile?
Nevermind, I found the answer. And to anyone else who may have the same question, the answer is yes. (I do reside in the US so keep that in mind)
The episode is 157: Destroy Naraku with the Adamant Barrage.
